I saw this earlier in the week and I thought I would share it with you guys... Phil Housley appeared on a weekly sports show on KSTP-TV in St. Paul back on Sunday. The former Jets defenseman discussed the lockout and his memories as a player. A few highlights of him playing as a Jet were shown. He was on Sports Wrap along with former Minnesota Wild forward Darby Hendrickson. You can access a video clip of the show. I don't know how long it will be active, so see it as soon as you can. Comments are of course welcome. Enjoy! KSTP-TV (May 24): www.kstp.com/article/stories/S8365.html?cat=7"Growing up in the State of Hockey"

I really don't thik Phil was comfortable being a Jet, drafted out of high school was not a normal thing for an American player, would be interesting to know if he is fond of his days as a Jet, I am sure he had his best year(s) point wise in Winnipeg

Phil Housley offensively in the 80's and early 90's was underrated and in the shadows of Bourque, Coffey, Murphy, etc. His offensive were good but his defense was plain awful..his plus/minus were mostly minus

So, did you all enjoy the video clip that had the interview? I know it wasn't exactly at the beginning, but it was worth waiting for and seeing. I thought it would be nice to share with you since I enjoyed it. I know it wasn't directly related to the Winnipeg Jets, but good nonetheless. Oh, I'm sure you guys heard the comment about the Jets uniforms when old Housley highlights were shown?
Good to hear he's doing well for himself since he retired as an NHL player. I still remember how fast he was as a skater.
Also, whenever I played the old EA Sports NHL games such as the 1991 to 1993 titles (the very first three in its ongoing series), he and Brian Leetch were so fast in the game.
