Anyone know where any of the Jets lived while they played in Winnipeg? Guys like Steen and Numminen who spent extended periods in town must've been well established in neighbourhoods.
Khabibulin lived 4 houses down from me during the Jets' final season, but he himself wouldn't come to the door for autographs. His wife took our cards and then came back with them autographed, so I never actually met him.

My cousins friend bought Jim Kytes house in River Park South when he was traded. They almost changed a street in honor of Keith Tkachuk when the Jets moved. They were going to change Ellice ave to "Go Jets Go Drive".

Andrew McBain lived on Norlorne Drive, (down the street from me,) when he played here. He had a host of Jets as roommates over the years from Brad Berry to Pat Ellenyk.
Thomas Steen lived in Charleswood as well.
Randy Carlyle lived/lives in River Heights. (Possibly why the moose have practiced there almost since day one.)
Dale Hawerchuk's ranch was/is just off of Wilkes.

If Nik played street hockey with the local kids, I was unaware, seeing as how I was one of the local kids.
Doesn't Hawerchuk own property on Lake Winnipeg near Gimli?

I wouldn't call it a cottage, It's like 3-4000 sq ft with an inground pool. Maybe he calls it a cottage?

I might be wrong, but I think Hawerchuk used to live in Headingly across the river from the 14th hole on John Blumberg.

John Paddock lived in River Heights. I only know that because in the Jets last season, I played hockey and his daughter was on my team. We got to pratice with the Jets, and they all signed our jerseys. I also had my goalie stick signed by John Paddock.
