Former Jet and Moose assistant coach Scott Arniel, now with the Buffalo Sabres, won't soon forget the MTS opener last week. "I had chills in my spine for the national anthem," Arniel said. "It's pretty cool to see 15,000 people like that." And it would have been even cooler to see it back befiore the Jets left town. Said Arniel: "They talked about this 15 years ago. Too bad they couldn't get it done."

Some of the past Jets players said this too ( Arniel, Ellet, Hawerchuk, Essensa ) in a way it is but in a way its not...Winnipeg is on the verge of of a big boom...thank god were expanding...we used to be the 4th largest..now were 8th
