I vote for Bob Essensa because I always like the goalies. I would voted for Khabibulin too.
Honourable mention goes to Selanne and Hawerchuck.

As good as all the others were you can't beat Selanne in jets colours. 2nd choice would be Dale Hawerchuk.

Good pole... I do think however Tie Domi should have been on there...
Why was he such a fan favorite? To this day i ask myself, and i loved the guy. I dont know why... Maybe it was that damn helmet that was 2 sizes too small, or the fact that he got into a fight ever 5 minutes, But either way, the majority of this City loved the b@$terd.
I remember when we traded him watching the News and seeing TV stations actually going out on the streets asking people what the thought of the Tie Domi trade, and EVERYONE was angry! they wanted that man here to stay...
God i loved those days... Can't wait until we get a team back.

What is ironic about Domi is that until VERY recently he had nothing but the utmost contempt for this city and the fans. He bashed the town on Par with Dieter Brock to get his dream of playing for the Leafs and didn't even say goodbye when he left.
If a tough guy should be on that list, my favorite tough guys to wear a Jet uniform were Jimmy Kyte and Gord Donnelly. Jimmy was the single nicest human being I have ever met aside from Teemu and Essensa. Nobody did more to help the hearing impaired persue athletics and did more to say "yes you can do anything you set your mind to" to the less fortunate than Kyte.
On the other hand, Donnelly was the closest thing we ever came to Craig Coxe. Gord was a guy who would fight ANYBODY. Unlike Domi who would only fight when and who he felt like fighting. While he often fought out of his league, Donnelly was the bravest Jet of them all and we needed a few more like him who put it all on the line for the Jets no matter what.

There should have been an "Other Player" choice. My vote went to my 2nd all-time favorite Jet, the Steen Roller. My favorite all-time, being the most underrated defencemen in hockey, good ol' Teppo!

No doubt about it... the Great One... Doug Smail. He embodied everything there was about being a Winnipeg Jet. Classy guy, hard working. Sure, he didn't put up Ducky or Teemu numbers but it's all about the effort people. Go Jets!

No doubt, Teemu Selanne is my all-time favorite player from the Winnipeg Jets.
Other favorites of mine included Eddie Olczyk, Teppo Numminen, Thomas Steen and Shane Doan.
The last player still is a big favorite of mine even as a member of the Phoenix Coyotes.

Definately Teemu. He was great. Domi would be second just because he would beat the crap out of anyone that skated by him.
My only regret is I never got to meet him - I only went to one of the Jet's carnivals and he had been sent to Anaheim just days before it took place...
