I have a couple questions on the MTS Centre.
1.How many club seat will there be next season? Are all P1 tickets considered club seat tickets? If so that would mean that there are 2064 club seats. However when i go to the MTS Centre web site it says that there are 936 club seats. I assume that this was for last year and they didn't update it yet. Am i correct or is 936 still the number of club seats?
2. Did they announce for sure how many luxury boxes there will be for next season? I know they were adding some.
3. Did they officially announce the capacity for next season? Last years capacity was 15,015. On Darren's 3 keys to the NHL returning thread he mentioned there would be 15,100 seats.
Thanks for the help.

There are ~2000 P1 Seats ... they are all priced the same, HOWEVER, only the John Labatt Lounge has the true "club seat" which is 19 inches wide and has more legroom (compared to 17 inch seats everywhere else). The remaining P1 seats are typical MTS Centre seats, however, you pay for the amazing view of the ice.
The suites went from 48 to 52 between the lower and upperdeck. I believe True North has built 4 "party suites" in the rafters alongside the new press boxes.
I have no idea what the new capacity will be at the MTS Centre. I think they are losing ~100 seats for camera positions, but then are adding party suites and a few seats in the vacant corners. Either way, for pure optics, I bet True North will announce a sellout @ 15,000+ rather than 14990 ... it just looks better

Capacity used to be 15,003 (It was originally 15,015 but they lost some seats when they made the retractable seats closer to the ice larger a few years after the building opened).
They were originally thinking they would lose a few seats due to camera positions but they actually took out a suite at centre ice for camera positions. As a result, they gained some seats which is why capacity is now 15,100.

That's fine, its not like anyone could afford NHL priced tickets anyway. I might pick up a couple tickets to game 1 when I get to the Arena on game night, no need to order ahead......Oh wait.....
