I hope the guys at ourbombers.com do a Jets forum. It's a well maintained, insightful forum that is easy to use.

I just cant say how disappointed I am that DF and the others abandoned this forum to get in bed with the Free Press. It would be one thing if the new forum was too good to pass up, but it's brutal.

Hey all, at least give it a chance to grow. Most of you signed up to this forum after all teh growing pains were over. Give it a chance to get better. Its crazy how so many of you want perfect all the time. I agree its not the best looking right now and needs some improvements but I am not going to be a jerk and just say screw it. Give it 6 months, see what happens.

you don't. You can use Yahoo, Google, OpenId...you have multiple options.

This is how Tal.ki chooses to provide their user authentication (I'm not a fan of it either; I much prefer the ProBoards way).

Its possible; you need to get permission from DF to do an "export" of his stuff and have it moved over to your site. I've done it before.

Sad to leave this place for the last time. Would've loved a revamp but I respect DF's decision to see it go down. It was made for the ROTJ and it has done its job.

I will be over at the new WFP forum and also Grumpz new forum at proboards that will have a setup much like this. I encourage everyone to try both out as I would like to see the members here stay together, since we are the #1 Jet fans around!

I'm a big fan of DF but to me this just seems like a personal decision as far as a gig with WFP that required getting rid of a competing and better forum. Tough for the rest of us.

I whole-heartedly endorse the ourjets forum from ourbombers.com

Let's get EVERYONE over there. No worries about media censorship there
