Good stuff Darren. Congrats and thanks for all your hard work. I'll vent my frustration ONE MORE TIME that the Jets are finally coming back AFTER I MOVED AWAY!!!!!!!!&!^#^&%(#$^$(&^%$*()$#$()#&*($*(&$&$(&$(*#&*(#FU(K*@&&^$ ... and I'm done. Thx again!!! If you were born and raised in the Peg, then there's a about 90% chance you'll be back after you retire. You'll get your chance to watch the Jets again! i'll be at every game in ottawa and montreal, thats for sure! (toronto and buffalo when i'm feeling extra crazy)

I have also been around since the beginning. I posted more before the site meltdown, and then not so much since 2005. However, like many others I have been coming to this site faithfully (probably more like obsessively) for many years.
I would like to thank DF from the bottom of my heart, because he was the public face of a place to dream, and dream we did. What team will be coming? Who will our owners be? Will they be called the Jets? What revenue sources are available?..... (BT!) The dream list could go on almost indefinitaly.
To the people who dislike DF, I don't understand you. I've only met him once, (At the epic return of the jets party at the pyramid in 2004) , but am very appreciative for everything he has done. Yes, I understand he didn't bring the team back with this website. I don't think he has ever claimed as much.
What he did do, and the reason that I respect him so much, is he put his name and his face out in the public for his dream. He became the public face for many on this website. Through all the ridicule, and there was lots, he stood tall and publicly represented what we all believed; that the NHL could work in Winnipeg again.
Darren, I thank you for this. Good luck in all your future endeavors.
Jason W.
