I was so lucky to have gone back home to Winnipeg last weekend. I may have missed the big parties at Portage and Main when the announcement was made, but I was in town to buy a bunch of new schwag with the logo. Anyways, walking down the street in Whitehorse wearing my new Jets shirt I've gotten nothing but positive comments about it. Does this really deserve a new thread? No, but with the various negative nellies and trolls I thought I'd post my own positive experience. Now if only they hadn't sold out of hats by the time I got to the MTS Centre...

Think about it this way, at least you're likely the only person in Whitehorse to be wearing the new Jets gear whereas here in the Peg' the new gear is everywhere!!!!

I am hoping to be the only person in Vegas to have one if I can manage to get one when in Winnipeg this week.

Anyone complaining about the logo, I have one thing to say to you: just be happy that we a) got a team, and b) they're called the Jets.

Yeah, I was walking around on Saturday afternoon with my hat on and pretty well everyone who stopped to ask me about it was positive in their assessment of it.
As with anything, the vocal naysayers on the internet make it seem like there is an issue when in reality, most people quietly are happy with the logo (or couldn't care less one way or the other).

I bought my stuff Friday night, and as I was sitting along Portage waiting for my bus a bus driver stopped the bus beside me and asked to see the new gear after showing him he gave me a fist pump. I must say wearing this stuff the first weekend it came out has been awesome so much positive feedback.

I got a load of hats Friday night. Saturday morning I was at the Arnes Farmers Market (I'm married, it's one of those things you gotta do when you're married...) and Gary Lawless came up to me to take a look at the hat. I'm pretty sure I was the only guy with Jets swag in Arnes Manitoba on Saturday ;-P

I am going to Mazatlan Mexico this Saturday, and I will be rocking my tshirt and hat there.
It will be interesting to see some of the people reactions in the Calgary airport when I land there to connect to my flight.
I have had some really positive feedback on my t shirt and hat.
GO JETS GO

I've never been cat-called until Friday night walking around with the new Jets gear. If the girls love it that much, I'll be buying a lot more.

You guys will love this. My thread title really is true.
I finished court in Mayo, Yukon, and decide to head over to Keno, Yukon because I've never been there before. It's an extremely tiny town about 5 hours from Whitehorse, with a population of 25. Yes, 25 total people.
Anyways, I pull up into town to the only place to get something to eat, when I see a huge crowd (for Keno at least) of maybe a dozen people. I walk up, and who do I see buy Darryl Paslowski, Premier of the Yukon (I've met him before, but not since he became premier, and I don't think he remembered who I was).
He takes one look at me and says "Hey - that's the new Jets logo isn't it!" - pointing at my new shirt. He then tells a couple of other people in his entourage to look at the shirt. He then goes on to ask me where I got it, and talks about how he was a born Winnipegger (St. B in fact). He seemed to really like the logo.
So there you go - the Premier of Yukon approves of the new logo.

25 people?!? You get more people in the drive thru at Tims But honestly, it is nice to hear that our logo is gaining acceptance across the country, and I think that will only increase once the jerseys come out!!!
