Every QB in the CFL is made of glass when you get your elbow smashed into another teams lid, have a 300lb guy roll on the back of your legs,or even take a shot in the leg. Lets remember,we lost 2 QB's in the same game last year, and they werent named Buck! And now this year after only 3 games,Elliott's gone for the year. I guess all are QB's are made of glass!

TSN's Dave Naylor just tweeted this: "WPG QB joey Elliott has torn ACL. Likely gone for season."How he finished the game on a torn acl is beyond me. The kids got talent and heart. It's a big loss for us. m.

Buck gets injured every year of his career. He's made of glass. I love his heart and skill but you shouldn't center your team around a guy you know is going down. Elliot did look good so that really hurt us and even if buck does play saturday he'll get hurt again. Hopefully we get to the playoffs and buck is healthy for a few games.

Made of glass = getting hurt when the hits would not hurt the average person.
Buck = taking illegal hit after illegal hit and getting up before finally suffering a deep bruise.
Buck is tough as nails. Joey still wins the big balls award for finishing the game on a torn ACL and refusing medical help.

we all know he isnt going to finish the year....its just how it is. may not be made of glass, but he is pretty close to it. Yep! Just remember the overall concerns the club had when they originally signed him. Health, Health, Health, can he stay Healthy??? If this is not the sign of a injury prone player then I don't know what is.

It's a sign of the Stamps thinking Buck might be injury prone so they were trying to illegally attack him in hopes of injurying him. That tells me a couple things:
- Stamps didnt think they could get a legal hit on him and if/when they did, Buck hopped right back up.
- Stamps felt Buck is talented and were willing to take penalties and risk suspensions to get him out of the game.
- Stamps are cheap shot artist, head hunting, cowardly cocksuckers.

Ithink Elliot's injury was on purpose too. When I saw theplay, and the replays after, I keep wondering why the ball carrier when confronted by Elliot didn't try to deak around him, but sorta bent down and hit Elliot in the knees. Or am I just totally missing something on that play?

I've never really bought the injury prone title. Unlucky? Yes. Injury prone? Nope. Remember, when he came in, it was concussion problems people were worried about. That hasn't been an issue at all. None of the injuries he's suffered as a Bomber have been because of a weakened joint or something. They've all been completely different injuries to completely different parts of the body. That's nothing more than really crappy luck

I think all the injury prone made of glass bs should stop now, i mean did you see that cheapshot he took saturday? Then he gets right back up and keeps on dominating. Pierce is a freaking warrior.
