for me it was the coyotes for about a year or two, then switched over to the flyers

I cheered for Calgary cause I grew up there, The Moose when I moved here and when I started to see the Moose players graduate to the NHL it was the Canucks, after game seven I'm only going to cheer for the Winnipeg/Manitoba whatever there called and who ever plays the leafs

I put
Other" because no team kept my attention. I would pull for the Habs, as they were my favorite team before the Jets arrived (dating myself there), but really, I lost all interest in the NHL after the Jets left. I only pulled for for non- sunbelt teams, when I watched (which was hardly ever during the regular season, maybe the playoffs a bit more). I've only recently really started following the NHL again with interest. By recently, I mean (guarding my throat here) the last 2 weeks, once it looked like we were getting a team.

Following the Leafs was almost enough to make me lose interest in the NHL altogether. I voted for Detroit.

The Canucks. And before anyone says any nasty things - one of the huge reasons is the Moose being affiliates. It was awesome to watch our young guys get called up and see them be successful in the NHL. Cody Hodgson's first NHL goal this past season was awesome. After watching them for the past 10 years and investing my time in them I'm not just going to switch right over to being a Jets fan 100%. They'll be more 1a and 1b. We'll see if I start to hate 'em again when we're in the same division.  |

I have been a Leafs fan since I was 14, the Jets left when I was 11 so I never really got the chance to form a bond with them. I began to really love watching NHL hockey in my teens so having a team in my own province will be amazing. I will still watch Leafs games and cheer em' on, but my number one allegiance has jumped to Winnipeg.

I was a big leafs fan because of Cujo. Now my real team is finally back so the Leaf sweater goes away for good! Ill still cheer for the Leafs as long as they are not playing the Jets! But Winnipeg is my only true hockey team!

Ducks, I was 2 years old when Selanne first lit the NHL on fire but when I was 4 I went to my first Jets game and got to see him play. Will never forget it, so when the Jets left I followed Selanne and the Ducks, I was always a big fan of Kariya to.
