I know there are a lot of people that check out this site and I am hoping you will help me. Our 4 year old little dog Romeo is suffering from calcification of his spine. Within hours, he went from walking and happy to paralyzed from the mid-section on. He has no use of his back legs right now. Our vet has advised he is a great candidate for successful surgery but they do not perform the operation in Winnipeg. We will have to go to Saskatoon. Additionally, the surgery is not cheap. All I ask is that you all utilize your social media to send out the links, tweet etc. We would greatly appreciate any help we can get in saving Romeo's legs. saveromeoslegs.blogspot.com/We'd like to thank all the people who have made donations and sent well wishes to Romeo. It is very much appreciated. Please just take a moment to click the links, read the short story and view the pics and video and tweet the link on to your followers, "like" the facebook page etc. Romeo is the sweetest, most gentle creature you could ever meet. We just want him to walk again. Thank you Andrew

Not gonna lie, this made me cry. Poor Romeo....I'd donate but down here we're struggling to make ends meet in the first place. You've got my support, as well as my dog, Penelope's

Thank you for your kind words. It's much appreciated. Just pass it on and hopefully we'll hit critical mass and Romeo will walk and run and dance (for treats) again!
Thanks!

Just wanted to say:
To be honest, although I'm an animal lover I don't really generally believe in surgery for them (sorry this doesn't come off as a ringing endorsement, but let me continue). I'm a city slicker so I can't say I'd find it easy to say no to helping a beloved family pet, but I also just think that it's not truly a reasonable way to go about things since they are animals.
Anyways, I just wanted to say that I donated some money because hey, at least the surgery is supposed to have a good chance of working. If this money has to be spent anyways, I think we should all be willing to help out a fellow Jets fan! Especially right before money is needed for season tickets!
So even though I normally really don't even support this sort of thing, to me this is more about ROTJ'ers coming together. Especially during what should be a happy time for all of us!
Good luck with everything,
Jonathon

Thank you so much. We're very appreciative of all the donations and support we've received thus far. We're hoping to leave tonight or in the morning to Saskatoon for the surgery.
Please keep passing it on. We (and Romeo) are grateful!
