Lets just say Qubec eventually splits from Canada....do you think they could put together a hockey team to give Canada a run for its $$$?

I dont mind if Quebec separates as long as every city and town within Quebec also has the option of separating from Quebec and joining Canada. And if Quebec reimburses Canada for all the federal land and infrastructure. And if they develop their own monetary system and currency.
Never gonna happen.

Or if the former leader of the seperatist party gives up the $140, 000 he recieves per year from the coountry he tried to tear apart.

I don't think people want to separate anymore, though, judging by what happened to the Bloc and how the Quebec Liberal Party won elections 3 times in a row. In other words, you won't see a Quebec-only team anytime soon.
