Cheers from Nowich,
It's been awhile since I moved home and I just wanted to let everyone know that my beloved Norwich City were promoted to the Barclay's Premier League this evening with a 1-nil win over Pompey. As a season ticket holder and away supporter, of which I was at Fratton Park today, I hope that one day you folks are able to be as happy as I and the rest of the Norwich City family. On the trip back from Pompey, I was telling my mates about the possibility of the Jets returning back to Winnipeg. Let's hope for a double this spring!
Remember to watch the PL next season and cheer for yellow army!
We are Premier League, We are Premier League!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yikes! Congrats to them! I'm sad Arsenal collapsed this year. They shouldve easily won the league.

That's awesome Elf! I'm just waiting for Sheffield to make it to the premier league The Blades, Wednesday, or FC? I suppose you'll be waiting a long time any which way... I wonder when Newcastle will look like they belong in the prem... oohhh!..Buurrnnn!!...good one Mac! It's been a hard life supporting NUFC these last few years. Still can't figure out why they dumped Hughton for Pardew! Oh well, I've been going to plenty of Southampton matches with a mate from work. They're working their way up and I'm enjoying the atmosphere at St Mary's!

I'm a Wednesday fan but them being in the ligue 1, It'll take quite a long time for them to get to the premier league lol. And with the Blades being near last in the table, I'm not expecting them to get promoted soon

Cheers all,
Nice to read all the comments again. Thanks for the kind words. Last match of season on Saturday v Coventry 2-2 draw. Meaningless match but it was the first home match since promotion at Pompey. Great atmosphere at the end with the gaffer and the lads completed the lap of honour. No voice left for the last two weeks. I still cannot believe what has happened. Double promotions in the last two years, a convincing double over IPSHITE Town and now we get to play the big boys at Carrow Road and travel to Old Trafford, Emirates and Anfield. I must admit that I'm really going to enjoy the trip up north to St. James' Park. The Geordies are second in me books just behind City in both fans and stadium.
I understand that you guy might be getting the Trashers now instead of Phoenix. Who cares what team it is as long as it's the NHL!! Again hoping for the double and see if I might be able to catch the Winnipeg Jets on the web next fall.
I'll try to post a bit more now that the season is over. Some good footy talk is always a good thing. I love you guys!!!!!!!!! (Still not sober, lol)
Cheers
On The Ball City!
