This series could determine the future of NHL hockey in Arizona.
Nobody in Arizona cares. Wings in 6.

Red Wings in 5, maybe 6 if Bryzgolov can steal a game or two, but overall Detroit is a better team.

Detroit too much depth and experience for patchwork Coyotes. Detroit in 6.

I said Red Wings in 7, my boyfriend said I'm wrong and its going to be the Wings in 5 or 6! I, for the first time in our relationship, hope he's right.

Tough to let the brain choose here. Heart says Detroit sweep so Phoenix has no momentum. Brain says Detroit in 7 because of injuries on both sides. I'll go in between-ish, Red Wings in 6.

The two people who said the Coyotes will win are terrible people and/or communist.
Only joking, of course.
Wings in 6, just so they can clinch in Gongdale

Wings in 7. I predict wild swings from game to game, in terms of intensity displayed by both teams. Some games will be one-sided for Detroit, some for Phoenix. Overall, the games will be relatively low scoring, so a one-sided game means one team may be shut-out or score only 1 goal, and yield most of the balance of play to the other team, who may score 3 or 4 goals.
Absolutely the key for Detroit is to get under Byrz's (goalie's) skin. Need to continually screen him and bother him, in order to get him off his game. If Byrz sees all of the shots and isn't bothered, Phoenix will win the series. But, Detroit does a pretty good job of bothering and screening goalies, and that will give them the edge in the 4 winning games.
Lidstrom will be the best player in the series. Franzen will also be very good, and very important for the Wings. The grinders will be the ones who carry the wings to the next round.

Wings in 6 to complete the full circle...surprised nobody has mentioned the Jets losing in 6 to the Wings when we relocated...now Phoenix will be in the same boat.

I'd love to see the Wings sweep, but I think probably they're too old and the Coyotes may pull off an upset, especially if Bryzgalov plays exceptionally well.
