Just another one of these to spark convo. Personally, I feel it will be the Russians because they appear to be the strongest of all these teams. That would be one hell of a final!

Russia -> They have what should be a talented offense.
BUT U.S.A has the goalie.
I just hope Canada doesn't choke.

Yeah, Montoya is probably gonna be the best goalie at the tournament. Look out for Lask from Finland, he's only 17 and is supposed to be super good (I know we lit him up but he's still suposed to be awesome). Yeah, I hope Canada doesn't choke too!

NONO. Finland played there backup goalie against canada. So we have not seen there starting goalie yet. I voted USA!. Thye have some great talent defence wise. And you win by defence. But can they score? Hmm.. All i know is what would seriously be better then usa vs canada GOLD medal final in Grand forks U.S.EH Lets Go Canada!!!! Im Pumped for tomorrow.

on tsn they were talkin about how ovetchkin sits on the players bench by himself during the intermissions. i dunno y hes isolating himself, but if ovetchkin creates bad chemisty with his team and adds distractions, i think the USA will do better.

if that happens, there would probably still be more canadians at the game then americans which is sad. they shoulda played them in winnipeg again. my dad said even regina would have been better than thief river falls and grand forks.

I'm terribly sorry for this statement! After watching Montoya last night, it's clear to see that his psyche is definately shot! Russia is looking really good Ovechkin has 3 goals and 2 assists so I'm pleased with that. I saw him sitting on the bench, he gave a bunch of kids autographs which was nice of him. Well looks like Canada Russia now, and I have NO problem with that! ;D

On a side note, I called Bergeron being point leader at this tournament... I don't remember if I put it on the board or not. Anyways GO CANADA GO!

Cam barker has returned to Winnipeg and will NOT play another game in the World Juniors. Barker has been diagnosed with Mononucleosis. Now Culliton and Barker are out for teh tourney and Seabrook is not 100 %. Lets hope we can keep spme bodies healthy.

Yeah, that's REALLY not looking good! If we wear too thin, I think we could run out of steam against Russia.
