Teemu is on an absolute tear right now, it has been amazing to watch him over this entire season espeacially the last two months! Last week at the age of 40, he broke the season record for most game winning goals in the last 3 mins of a hockey game and it only took him 6 short weeks to accomplish that! Tonight against the Avs, Teemu was at it once again leading the Ducks to a 5-4 victory with 3 goals and 2 assists, including... once again the GWG with under 5 mins left! Heres the link to the Ducks vs Avs highlights if anyone is interested! www.nhl.com/ice/recap.htm?id=2010021133

It was his 1st penalty shot goal since March 9th, 1993 when he helped lead the Jets past the Lightning. Scored it against Wendel Young. (good trivia question).
I am loving watching Teemu still playing with the excitement of a rookie. Need to see him playing in the MTS Centre next year. Does anyone not think he would get loudest standing ovation? I'd guess it would last no less than 10 minutes.

It would be emotional for him to say the least im sure!

www.cbc.ca/sports/blogs/elliottefriedman/2011/03/an-award-for-journeymen-plus-30-thoughts.html2. Teemu Selanne scored numbers 26, 27 and 28 last night in a 5-4 win over Colorado. Yes, he's had an incredible career, but more impressive were his friends travelling to the 2007 Stanley Cup Final. On the final leg of their journey, they drank their airplane dry. Flight attendants had no alcohol left for anyone. Now, that's an accomplishment. 3. Before that series began, I'll never forget the look on Selanne's face when Randy Turner of The Winnipeg Free Press informed him people were cheering for Anaheim over Ottawa because they wanted to see Selanne win the Cup. It meant so much to him. If the NHL does return to Winnipeg before he quits, his number 13 should be retired the first time the Ducks travel there. I know it's a little odd to do it that way, but what a scene it would be.

My buddy was at the Calgary game today against the Ducks... He was wearing his Jets jersey, during warm up was down by the ice. Said Teemu was skating past him and slowed down, gave him a lil head nod AND a wave lol Love it Teemu, come on home bud you've served the Ducks well enough

Ducks down 2-0 with 2 mins left in the 2nd period. Selanne puts up 2 goals in 30 seconds, Ducks and Preds tied 2-2 heading into the 3rd!
Go Ducks Go!
