Wait! Since Oklahoma can support an NBA franchise, SURELY they can support an NHL team! There must be over a million ppl in that city so of course they will sell out every game!

Bobby often panders to his audience.
Did Hull not say at a Blackhawk game that the biggest mistake of his career was going to Winnipeg?
Did he also not say last summer at 4 play that the NHL was going to return to Winnipeg?
I hate to say it but when myself or friends in Chicago have seen Bobby over the past three years he has often been a little too involved in the good "drink".
Let me be clear in no way am I bashing Hull. I proudly display lots of memorobilia from Hull including a beer stein he was awarded as a WHA game star. Come to think of it, it is just that time to fill it up with some ale.

Sounds like the rants of a shameless self-promoting failed businessman (new WHA). I could be wrong though....

Bobby needs to get off the bottle a bit.. We talked about him being there for the first game of the new team..

Hull is a little out of touch...the sad part is a lot of current teams would love to have 'only' 10,000 season ticket holders...i can think of several...

Hull's pretty much irrelevant...who knows, maybe he's gotten wind of the fact that the team won't return with the name that he built. Couldn't blame him for having some disappointment and being somewhat negative.

seriously .. what's so wrong about his comments? Just because he doesn't say "Yeah awesome for sure ... lets go Jets, bring the team back!" Number 1. Its true the NHL is gun-shy about returning to Winnipeg (look at how hard Bettman is fighting to stay in Phx) Number 2: Hell yeah, the people of Winnipeg better damn well prove that they will suport this team not only in the short term but long term as well
I see nothing wrong with his brief comments at all, he's just telling it like it is and I still want him there opening night. For shame, haters
