I would think Bettman's press conference about what is going on with the Coyotes, Glendale and Goldwater would be bigger news. All you hear about on ESPN and radio talk shows like Mike & Mike and the Dan Patrick Show is how the Miami Heat cry after games and Jim Tressel and Ohio State. I bet if the Coyotes end up moving to Winnipeg, it won't even be mentioned until late into the broadcast. Lebron James having a hangnail, or the flu would be covered first. God, I wish we could get TSN here.

ESPN does not support hockey. That is why the NHL left and went to Vs and leads in other media like internet and such. ESPN is more like TMZ in my opinion. Looking for headlines. With College BB/March Madness, ESPN will cover that while other alternative media will cover hockey. Not to say there will not be hockey on ESPN TV and web site, but the munitia of the PHX situation will not be the lead story.
And to be blunt and please don't take the wrong way.....What is big in Winnipeg, is not big in large US cities with 2 sports headed to playoffs, March Madness and the NHL strike, along with all other 2nd, 3rd and 4th tier sports
