though i love looking at half naked women with tight bodies, i feel that cheerleaders have no place for hockey.

Hell no! It's hockey. Was it not some stupid sunbelt team that started this to try and draw fans? No cheerleaders! Tacky and cheesy.

Although this is good (not allowing cheerleaders), they better still allow the fans to be rowdy (within reason). It seems like the Moose games are getting quieter and quieter since they keep kicking out anyone that says boo at the game. They used to allow more noise without issues before... Also, I want a real anthem singer as well. The schools are great to get kids to the games for the Moose and it's nice for the kids, but I want a professional singer at the NHL games.

It's like a shirt I read.
Football has cheerleaders. Cheerleaders have hockey players.
I feel that cheerleaders cheapen the game and I don't need them to tell me when to cheer. Or to get in the way of my veiw of the ice.

There is a distinct difference between ice girls and cheerleaders is there not? I agree cheerleaders are Go Jets Go in hockey, but not ice girls. I for one will be offended if I see a man on the ice shoveling the snow... hell we shovel the snow in our driveways all the time...I think you can ask a few woman (in tights) to shovel the snow that generates on the ice as payback

NO!!!! Big mistake if they do that. I go to Oilers games once in a while and they just look so out of place in a hockey arena. Don't get me wrong, VERY NICE TO LOOK AT, but they don't bring any kind of substance to the game.
Keep the cheerleaders to football and basketball, thanks!

To be honest Cheerleaders in hockey? We really don't need that at all, we can live off hockey in our sleep and don't need a "perk" to go to the game. BUT if we do get em, I am heading the squad! lol Its called
Jets Girls - chug and spike at half time show!!! LOL
