 Hey I know its not aboot news ...but I just thought seeing we ALL know we are getting a team back ...and this is aboot the RETURN.... The Oilers got the Octane team...and I think Winnipeg has some of the most beautiful women in Canada.... So ...we gonna get the 'Jet Fuel' team or something? would you people wanna see something like that? I mean I know Benny and Dancing Gabe are cool...but ...ya ... Us Jets fans? Id love to see something like that ....Just trying to lighten the mood...Im sure you all know some beautiful women that could be there... Please don't rag on me...I'm just really ...REALLY excited ....Trade deadline ...got me full of goose bumps...thinking of the Draft for Winnipeg...the All star game....the Playoffs....Hockey Cards.... Just wanted to get something out there a lil light hearted ...to help us not be all wound up..

Yeah I don't get it. Maybe... the people on this site that are against cheerleaders are women who don't want a bunch of hot chicks cramping their style.

The Jets did have cheerleaders (or dancers) for a short time. I think it was the 93-94 or 94-95 season.

I for one would embrace a crew of hot chicks cheering on our team.
Maybe not cheerleaders, but at least sexy girls cleaning the ice, like in most NHL arenas.
We could call them The Flight Crew Girls.

As far as I know, Oilers are the only NHL team in Canada that has cheerleaders...

As far as I know, Oilers are the only NHL team in Canada that has cheerleaders... I think thats correct...i cant picture any in the other arenas when i see them on tv. Wasnt it a huge deal a few months back when Edmonton announced they were getting cheerleaders because no other team in Canada had them? |
