I hate that... like soccer jerseys with "samsung" on the front and nothing else... no team name just a crest on the sleeve? Then you see that Go Jets Go for sale at Sport Check, and wanna wear it? "hey, check out this Samsung jersey, awesome."

I don't much care for the aesthetic of the European hockey jerseys, either. At least in soccer they keep it a little more sedate, generally. I am guessing professional hockey teams in Europe have razor thin profit margins. Something the NHL should keep in mind whenever they contemplate expansion over there, methinks.

How would you like the Jets to look like this? BARF!

LOL
Ok, maybe that's a little much. The Bombers have one or two patches on their jerseys and it doesn't detract from the look.

European teams also don't have the benefit of salary caps and being rewarded for sucking Go Jets Go all season. If you finish in last, you don't get the #1 draft pick, you get relegated to an inferior division of play. The club's crest is clearly visible. I don't have a problem with small amounts of advertisements, so long as it's just the company logo, etc. Precisely as European soccer clubs have done.

I'm going to sell advertising space on my underwear. I have a lot of real estate to fill up back there.

Here is a good classic example of how ads and logos could look good on a jersey temp

I cant even read what team it is. If I knew anything about soccer, maybe I would know, but it's not clearly visible. All I see is Samsung.
