A chance to hear him again! www.winnipegsun.com/sports/othersports/2010/09/02/15231781.htmlBy Winnipeg Sun Last Updated: September 3, 2010 8:51am Curt Keilback is going back behind the microphone. The former voice of the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets will call 10 Manitoba Junior Hockey League games this season on NCI-FM radio. Keilback spent more than two decades calling Jets games. His first MJHL contest will be on Sept. 23, when the OCN Blizzard visits the Winnipeg Saints.

Without Bias; He really is one of the greatest announcers. I just don't understand why he hasn't been picked up by any Franchise ( Including: TSN, CTV, Sportsnet, etc....)

Keilback would sound at home doing a HNIC telecast.

Keilback has a great voice for radio, not much of a face for tv. Hughson is the best play by play guy on tv. Period.

He is destined to be our play-by-play man! I agree he is destined to our play-by-play man, he is the best in my books. I think the problem why he has not landed on tsn, cbc, sportsnet is it could be because long ago he had huge feud with cjob management over negotiating his contract.

Maybe he doesnt want to uproot to another city again, and just call Wpg home. The guy does have family and friends here, and he's not getting any younger.Who knows?
Not to surprised he's not @ TSN or CBC,these stations want more youth in their play by play guys now,and sadly CK does not fill the bill.
Once the NHL returns,I think he'll land a job here, but as a color guy and not doing play by play.

Come on...if Bob Cole can still do play by play, Kielback should have at least 20 good years to give us.
