 Adrian McPherson has stated he wants out of Montreal and I think I know just the the team that should go get him....... This guys young and has more talent than all the QBs we have combined right now! |

Agreed. I was impressed by him the game he played against us(even though they lost). Not sure it'll be easy to get him to Winnipeg though.

When did Winnipeg last have a Qb capable of being a starter for years to come, and not the cast offs form other teams like Glenn and Co,
McPherson would be Montreals stater if Calvillo wasn't around, guaranteed!

Well, McPherson would be considered a cast off if the Bombers got him, right?
But yes, I hope they get him. Bombers just can't seem to recruit and develop a QB themselves.

Cast offs are Qb that arent good enough to knock off the starter, Calvillo is a speical case, like Young having to wait for Montana to move on,
McPherson doesnt want to wait, he's a starter now.......

Huh thats odd Glenn was 31 for 51 with 437 yards and 2 td passes in a playoff game where he was the only ticat that showed up to play. Not to mention...yet again him lighting us up last season....twice.
Looked PREETY good to me.

You can hide behind stats all you want, but I watched that game, and he failed. They lost to BC and Casey Printers, which should have been a walk in the park. FAIL!

You mean a team that hadnt seen the playoffs since god knows when. Bottom line Glenn can do better than anyone we have and should have been given another shot, he was cut by Mike Kelly wasnt he? |

Glenn didn't get Hamilton into the playoffs, Toronto and Winnipegs inability to win games did.

Well obviously we all know now how big a mistake it was to give Kelly full reign over the team, if he wanted to bring that bum Lefors in fine, but he wasnt ready to be a #1 qb, we should have had Glenn at his side, just like Hamilton did this year with Glenn and Porter. Everyteam beat us last year, a couple of them with their backup QBs as well. Glenn deserved to be cut from Winnipeg. Time to move on.

i agree a new face at quarterback is needed. However, I also wonder how much the brutal offensive shemes Kelly had last year affected the quarterbacks. I would be interested to see how Lefors did under a real offense. Not saying he is ready to be a starter, but maybe it wasn't totally his fault.

I'd really like to see McPherson as a Bomber.
Also wouldn't mind seeing Ricky Santos get some more time. Might as well keep around Bishop to have some experience around (unless another cheap veteran becomes available)
