and yes razor, i was breaking the rules to try to enforse them.. LOL, I thought I was being pretty funny by posting stuff on twitter then copying and pasting it to the thread. I'm sure a new twitter thread will be needed when this media f5 comes around. Already ahead of you...watch out for new one in a few... |

So the "Choose Day" thread is gone and replaced with a locked comment from Hendrix. I wouldn't mind some context as to why the thread was removed...

This a discussion group whose sole purpose is speculation and innuendo. It's not the NY freakin Times. What's the harm in people chattering and discussing? |

Out of control, out of hand remarks by Members. Personal opinion, I guess, but I didn't see anything "out of control" or "out of hand". I guess they're relative terms. I don't see any harm in speculation and best guesses. |

Maaaaaybe 'high and mighty'... but if you're going to nit-pick, thats more of a descriptive insult than a name calling one.  |

Q for the mods - other than searching for your previous posts, is there any way to spot threads that you have previously posted in? I don't care to look at every old thread that gets bumped, but it would be nice to know if it was one I posted in before just in case someone responded to a point I made earlier.

Click on your name "shtinky" anywhere it appears in the forum. That will bring up a page on your public profile, and there is also an option to search for the past 10 (or you can change that number) posts you have made. Then you can link to those posts to see if there were replies. I think that's the best way as far as I know, I don't think there are alerts for whether or not anyone "quoted" you |

The only reason I ask is because other forums will occasionally change the icon next to the thread title once you posted in it, and I was wondering if there was any way to activate a similar feature here.

Hello all...first time posting... male fan, born and raised in Winnipeg...1st Jets game I saw was vs. the Chicago Cougars who had Pat Stapleton and Keith Magnusson ( dating myself, I know)... Jets goalie was Ernie Wakely and the 1st line was Hull-Bordeleau-Beaudin.... great memories... remember seeing Joe Daley play without a mask. Anyways...about those great looking t-shirts that are sold out....any chance of a second run on those beauties??? I missed out. thx.

I'm wondering if I could have my thread "Why the Team Should be Called Jets" returned to the main forum.
I put some legitimate effort in that sucker and it was almost immediately sent to the past memories forum to rot on a forum with no traffic and hasn't been posted on almost a week. Not surprisingly the day before the official announcement.
I can totally see why it would be moved over when the first priority at the time was acquiring a team and name threads were trying to be lessened, but now it's probably the main issue at hand and threads on the team name seem to be more allowable now.
Really, it's much more than a team name thread anyhow and I think I made some valid points in there.

There was a thread where DF gave us some indication of where he wanted to take this site in the future, and asked for suggestions, etc. Where did it go? If it was dropped, then why?
