those are probably the worst seats in the house... What's your point? You have not had a decent, well thought out, somewhat intelligent point ever there Jaylon.... Please, add something to the conversation actually worth reading once and a while.

those are probably the worst seats in the house... For four bucks I know it's a tuff decision,Not sure what I would do,spend $8 on 2 tix,or spend $8 on batteries so I could listen to the game on my 1980's walkmen while I roam the streets Atlanta.

those are probably the worst seats in the house... does that matter? you can always move up to better seats seeing how NO ONE goes to the game

Damn, wish I could find these Atlanta / Phoenix ticket prices in Jersey. I know Devils fans don't have the best reputation for showing up to games, but I can tell you tickets are not cheap. Definitely the main reason I don't go to more games. I really hope you guys and Quebec get your teams back soon - this is getting rediculous.

First of all, $4 is pretty cheap and if the org had tickets for $4, then it better be heavily subsidized through several sponsors.
But when I look at this, it is Stubhub, which means this person selling the ticket bought it from the Thrasher org. Yes,demand is low and that is a point but this is not the Thrasher org selling these tickets for $4.

I thnk if anything this is just an indication of what hockey is worth in that city more than anything. You wont find a ticket less then 50$ to get the 'worst seat in the house' in Vancouver.

Yeah, even though it's Stubhub, it still shows a big message. If we had Ovechkin coming to town, guaranteed that ticket would be double/triple price. They probably don't know who he is, aside from the major hockey fans of course. Surely there's gotta be some down there.

Now, I do think that is very cheap and does show a lack of demand for tickets, but ask the contrarian question. Has anyone ever been offered a Bomber ticket for free? If so, that would mean that Winnipeg and football is worse than Atlanta and hockey. So does Winnipeg deserve a CFL team? Just asking the contrarian question ?

I don't really seem to agree with your logic there Subway. I've been offered FREE Bomber Tickets, Goldeye tickets as either a gift, prize OR if the person holding the tickets couldn't go. With this $4.00 ticket offer we're discussing in this thread; this is off a Ticket Agent Website that are known for charging 150%+ for tickets to hockey games. An example: I just paid $120 a ticket for The Wild VS Chicago ( ticket value is only $86.00 I also paid $155.00 a ticket for The Wild VS Penguins ( Ticket value once again is only $86.00 ) I've seen games in Anaheim, Edmonton, San Jose, Ottawa, Philly, Chicago, etc... and have used "Stub Hub" or another ticket agent to buy my tickets through & have always ALWAYS paid much more than face value. In this case, there is NO market for hockey in Atlanta thus; tickets that have values much greater than $4.00, are being sold for that price just to try and recover a little of what they can. You will find this in almost ALL Struggling NHL Hockey markets. You cannot compare this $4.00 offer to CFL Football ( Bombers ) etc... It's not nearly the same thing........

Has anyone ever been offered a Bomber ticket for free? Yes! I've taken free tix,but I wanted to go and couldnt get tix cause the game was sold out. ;D Now lets just say this was not from a tix site and these were team tickets. The Thrashers would be trying to recoup some money so they dont lose a ton of more money,by selling $4 tix and trying to get ppl to go to games. Now if the Bombers were giving out free tix,it would be because they could afford to so,and they wouldnt be trying to beg ppl to buy a ticket. The team knows what it needs to survive in a gate driven league and accepts that they can turn a profit/break even in a CFL where every game is not going to be,or doesnt need to be a sellout.

All I have to say is DUH! Even when Mr. Reinbold was coaching, people bought tickets to the games. You can't compare the Thrashers to us... whether its the CFL or NHL. We support the Bombers... Atlanters DON'T support the Thrashers!! (SORRY... BUT WHAT ARE ATLANTA PEOPLE CALLED? You know like, Winnipeggers, Calgarians, etc) Hendrix and WpgThunder are right on with this.

People will get used to simply buying the stubhub tickets and and not though ticketmaster...
