For the teen set there are few bands bigger than the Jonas Brothers. "I really like their music. I find it really catchy," says one teen fan. She really wants to see them when they hit the MTS Centre this July. Getting tickets could be tough, but there are forces at work that could add to those challenges. Coldplay is headed to Winnipeg and that show should be equally popular. Pre-sales began on Friday, but tickets were up for sale on the internet before that. Officially tickets for the show do not go on sale until Saturday, but they are already being sold on several websites. "They're not the place to go. They're not valid tickets," explains Kevin Donnelly of True North Sports & Entertainment. Donnelly from the MTS Centre is angry and frustrated. He says scalpers are selling tickets to almost every show they offer, including this summer's Coldplay concert. When tickets officially go on sale Saturday, thousands will have already been sold online, most at huge mark ups, and some for non-existent seats. "It comes back to us, because he's going to be at our doorstep the night of the show saying, why can't I get in, I paid $750 a ticket. So now we're faced with the customer service fallout," adds Donnelly. winnipeg.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20090313/wpg_ticket_troubes_090313/20090313/?hub=WinnipegHomeTHAT, my friends is what supply and demand looks like. and this is exactly what the NHL needs.

I hate to sound like a broken record but they should have built the arena a wee bit larger.

I have heard of getting tickets at other places then ticketmaster. I found this out not very long ago. Who is this side company... or who are these side companies??? Are all of them fraud? I would love to have paid less then the $175.00 for Nickelback tickets, but we have great seats, I just get a little frustrated with the "extra" charges, that I feel shouldn't be added

There was no need to save the 2 one way streets on either side of the arena, this would have been all that was required to have a world class facility.
