Bob Irving, on the CJOB sports show, just said (about 6:20 pm - Apr 6th/11) that he heard the local group(s) interested in Atlanta have backed off because of the terrible situation the Thrashers are in. I highly suspect he is correct on that one, no one in their right mind would try to keep the team in Atlanta. However, Bob has been a little off on this saga so I will wait until other media topick up on this. |

I wonder if the city of Atlanta offered to pay 25m per year to any prospective local buyer, if that would entice a sale?

Thanks The Winning Pegs. I also learned about Clemons through the "Spirit ends exclusivity on Hawks sale talks" thread. The article helped lessen my worries as well. It will be so nice when that official announcement comes out, put an end to all this worrying and fear of being let down.
