I'm a Jackets fan but being a Clevelander I know the ache of losing a team. Go Jets Go!

Columbus moving to Cincinatti or Clevland ( GO BARONS ) The people in Columbus love their team, but the management sucks. Also, while I would die to have an NHL team back in Cleveland, Columbus has quite possibly one of the BEST Arena districts I've been to. It's a BLAST. I don't think Cleveland has the layout to attract major league hockey markets. I'm glad that things are looking up for the 'Peg, though. It's hard to say that expansion project isn't a dead giveaway for the NHL coming back. However I'm sold that Winnipeg could sell 17,000 for a big Moose game. Hope it's the former over the latter.

Beautiful Arena district, beautiful Arena itself.

Just heard this from Brad May, retired and former Coyotes. One reason the team are reluctant to move is because most have purchased homes during the housing bubble. They didn't want to be in a position to have to sell their homes for a fraction of what they paid. Incidently, he has a home there that he is renting out to a current player. Just a thought.

They can keep the house and rent for now until the market comes back or maybe the NHL can help them out with these extraordinary circumstances.

Considering that a lot of Manitobans fly down to Arizona, he can rent out to someone from Manitoba, and therefore, it is an ease fix!!!! (Once yotes are back home in winnipeg that is)

Time to re-focus on Phoenix and look at next years roster as another stalemate develops in the desert. This could be a major rebuild but at least we will re-claim our franchise. Lots of work to be done. www.capgeek.com/www.capgeek.com/charts.php?Team=25

Lots of cap space with a few key players to sign, most of those UFA,s I wouldn't even re-sign. Bad side of that roster is there needs to be more Canadian content, look at the non-roster players, mostly European. Look at the teams that do well in the playoffs, high Canadian content.

Hey there Winnipeg-Hopefuls... I live in Chicago and would love to see Phoenix move from their desert back to Canada.. The US dollar is weak and I could see two teams moving, including either Phoeniz and or Atlanta/Columbus.... I always wanted to check out a Jets game to see Selanne play and Tkachuk and missed my opportunity... I think Phoenix has the better roster considering they have been pesky contenders the last few years and would get immediate tv coverage from NBC in the playoffs next year if they make it...

There was a thread here that asked the question is this Winnipeg/Phoenix franchise cursed? I really starting to think so, bring on Atlanta.

I understand why people are yet again disappointed... it seems as though we don't get our hopes up but somewhere deep inside, we are screaming. Then once again a slap in the face... I think my face is bruised from all this. I usually am a positive person, but I would be lying if I said that I am not frustrated and defeated on this topic. I love my Jets so much, and this is starting to look like a custody battle, us being the mother land and them being the dead beat father (or fatherland, and dead beat mom). But one thing I have been trying to tell myself, that maybe JUST MAYBE will help you, as this feels like a funeral all over again, is that when we do (WHEN WE DO) get our team back, that victory dance, and scream will be twice as much more GLORIOUS! Cheers everyone, and "don't worry Jet, mommy is coming for you!!"

Not that we care that much anymore, but does anyone know if Anson Carter's group would have an interest in the Coyotes?

Well Winnipeg we got our team =D
Now let's do a secret campaign (IMPORTANT it must be secret) to fill the Coyote arena with our fans for our game with them.
This can be historic and very likely not to be repeated again lol
By word of mouth we must all get ourselves organize and once the tickets go on Ticketmaster we have to grave them all.
Now picture this - Our team with have a full stadium here at home (that is nothing special) but once they go to phoenix they will, guess what... Have a full arena of fun supporting them in their away game =D
Can you just imagine what the news will say? We have an opportunity to do this because that arena hold like 16000 + people but they only sell like 6000 season tickets. We can almost outnumber them 2 to 1 in their own arena LOL
This drive to fill their arena with our funs has to be a secret otherwise it may not work. (they may bye tickets just to keep us out).
Who is with me???

I will have no problem spending money in Glendale to go watch the Jets games. Actually, looking forward to it. Hoping they play 1 game there this season.
