For those of you that follow the New York Mets or live in NY you may be familiar with the Mets at the Movies Nights. The night basically is an evening in a theatre with the game simulacast on the Big Screen, the game other than being in person has all the concessions and what not of a real live game. newyork.mets.mlb.com/nym/ticketing/metsatmovies.jspThis concept might be something a new Winnipeg franchise can pull off when the MTSC sells out for high demand games like the Red Wings, Avs, Oilers, Leafs, Canadians and others when demand exceeds ticket supply. A possible location could be in a newly refurbished theatre like the one on Donald across from MTSC currently owned by Canad Inns in conjunction with True North................ Tickets could be first come first serve and might be sold at a comparable price to those in the upper decks.......... Just a thought

I only think something like that would work for the playoffs when everyone wants to say "party". I wouldn't myself go during a regular season game, would rather watch it at the game or on my couch lol! And so you know there will always be demand for tickets in Winnipeg . I'm pretty positive we'll be selling out every game but I guess I see what you mean in terms of more people then for say the "norm" would want to watch that game but I'm almost positive they'd not want to spend 40$ to watch the game at a theatre when they could just rather watch it at home with some buddies for free hehe. Just my opinion!
