You know I do agree with the comment on some girls can keep up and not all... that is very true... I just think that if you can.. do it... i would have never gotten as good as i did if i played on the girls team ... that's all. Yes I am or WAS with the Human Rights ... but I know from talking with my auntie a couple days ago that the people I worked with are basically all moved on. THey have to follow the rules there whether or not they agree or not... its' there job and they can't turn down complaints or else that can cause a lot of trouble... I remember taking a call (can' t say names of course) but this person was upset and said that Britney Spears ruined her life... and she was yelling and screaming and really upset about it... Now we had to deal with it and make a case of it ... even tho with all agreed how dumb and pathetic it was.

WOW, that is so true... I hate to admit that men are stronger and better in most cases.. but that is just the way it is... and if some females enter the NHL one day (lets forget the female goaltender that didn't last long) then she deserves to be there... but as a girl you have to be big and muscular to enter the playing field with men... . a girl my size .. naw.. no way... i am way to small.. but at least i admit it and dont' file a report to the HRC office about the discrimination I face...

Thanks for the link. I personally agree with the logic and reason of the article, and found it refreshing to know that I am not alone. This whole thing reminds me of the age old adage; "History is comprised of two questions - 1. What harm could it possibly do?... followed inevitably by 2. How was I supposed to know?!"ps... I don't mean to bring this back to life again, Jiffy, hope you can forgive me for this post.

LOL, Oh I understand.. I really do.. I am female.. but too think about it you have to understand where and why this is being said. I know personally .. should I play hockey with my male cousins and friends .. that at times I am not as good... size, weight and some skills... it s just the way males and females are .. we are the petite and "fragile" parts.. were as the men are the strong protector types... if you know what i mean... Anyways.. no hard feelings, understandable.. (this whole kirfluffle) Either way without women men would be lost, sad, gay and insensable...lol kidding...

Either way without women men would be lost, sad, gay and insensable...lol kidding... Amen to that! They are the apex of creation... If you are familiar with the creation story, look at the order... sun, moon, firmaments, plants, animals, man... and when God was finished practising he made woman! cheers

So shall we finish this thread by agreeing that PERFECTION shouldn't be endangered by big male hockey lugs? ;D
Well the Pasternak sisters certainly provided me with hours of entertainment. So thanks to them for that!

Correct me if i'm wrong but at one press conf did the girls not say that the girls team was a joke and lower level of hockey, and wanted to play at a more competitive team. And then at another pc they said that its not like we have not been playing hockey,we have been playing lower organised hockey to stay in shape. Is that not what they tried to avoid in the first place-----I'm i the only one that heard that or i'm i hanging out with Trolly in the Land Of Make-belief or is it Beleave.......LOL

Can't help you there... Out east we heard of it when it was a headline. Haven't heard anything about it since.
Kinda sad that that is the only little blurb that people will have heard about the city in the last 6 months. I am constantly fighting against people who just chuckle and ask "What's out THERE!?!?" when they learn that I am from Wpg. This kind of stuff never helps!
