Hi is a bitter man, he has that typical attitude of many elderly people in Winnipeg, he doesn't like change or progress. That's my opinion

He is entitled to his opinions, i have no problem with any of that, though i don't agree with most of them. If he wants to be negative, and think change is for the worst, i have no reason to say he is wrong, though i don't have to agree with them... BUT My problem with Vic Grant and his pals at CJOB, is they don't just leave things at that. If he said "I don't think NHL would work in Winnipeg." and left it at that, fine... But they go a step overboard and flood the air waves with false information... The say "Tickets will be average of $90.00" (deceptive, and false) "They don't even have a parking revenue at MTSC" (false). They also leave out vital details when the compare old salaries to new ones, like CAD-VS-USD and inflation, etc. etc. Geoff Courrier even stated that the reason Winnipeg lost its team was because of lack of fan support. LACK OF FAN SUPPORT??? IN WINNIPEG??? What is this guy talking about? Where are his examples to prove such a thing? Oh i forgot, he didn't move to winnipeg until after the jets had already left! Did he even attend a single game at the old barn?
It is one thing to have uneducated pessimistic opinions and make yourself look like an idiot, it is a completley new ball game to tell lies, and give false information to saw the listeners opinions. CJOB is guilty of both... Too bad they don't do research before the speak their minds...

Excellent post. Ian is proving to be a very constructive moderator. Tells it like it is and doesn't put up with any funny business.
