i like the Graf skates. nice comfortable fit, and i broke into them almost right away (couple skates and they fit great). i tried a Rebellion stick (1 piece)...good for slapshots, and pretty much nothing else.

Bauer/Nike should be catagorized as 1 as should CCM/RBK.. but it doesn't really matter. I chose Bauer.. they make quality stuff. Gonna try my luck on an RBK stick tho!

I'm with SBurke...as a goalie though, I'd choose Vaughn for pads and Louisville for gloves. I like my Vaughn chest protector and I have a sweet Heaton helmet like Brodeur but with a cooler paint job. Sticks are a big deal for goalies too...I like Koho which are so similar to the Heatons of years past.
