i have a 360. had one since the day it came out and im happy with it. Madden 06 could have been better(prefered the original xbox release of 06 over the 360 madden 06) and COD 2 is great. Xbox live is really improved on the 360 as well. I RECOMEND IT

Wow... this has got to be the only place that supports the Piece-O-sh!t 3...

Seems like everywhere else is mostly Xbox and Nintendo supporters, and I dont blame them.

I played a NGC the other day and it has LESS LOAD TIMES THAN SONY, and just as good graphics as Sony for the most part. I was SHOCKED.

So I dont get it.... whats with the Sony fanboys? Especially now that they are NOT first out of the gate, they are going down, face it fanboys.

I stay loyal to Sony, they've been good to me so far, I have no complaints with my systems that's why I chose them.

On another note, ESPN only had 1 game and it was NHL. Decent but still I liked EA more. If you're looking for presentation tho then go with ESPN. The 2K series couldn't hold a torch to Madden.. it wasn't even close, but their basketball was better. I don't think anything could touch MVP baseball for EA tho.. that game was the bomb.. you could do so much with it.

PS1 was very good, and they had some great new series come out like Spyro and Crash (now available on all consoles).

PS2 was decent in the beginning but is the worst of the current-gen consoles as it has basically no advantages over the other ones.

Disadvantages:
Xbox has better online gameplay(Live!).
Gamecube and Xbox both have faster load times.
Xbox has better graphics and some Gamecube stuff does as well(I was surprised at the latter, but GC seems to be pretty equal graphics wise for most games despite the fact it has less raw power)
You cannot import music like Xbox can.

Advantages:
Can play DVD's without any add-ons.
A few exclusive titles not available on others, but this lessens everyday.
Fantavision and Amplitude.

I am no way biased towards any console, I just call things for what they are and Sony has gone down the tubes. They were great when they started, but did they just get lucky?
What has Sony done lately? Nothing. They've been too focused on entering the portable gaming which has not been as successful as it should have been because they do not make very many good games anymore, which shows heavily in their software sales lagging lately.

What has Microsoft done lately?(Personally I do not like Microsoft at all... so I have no idea why I support them here I just feel it is the most solid system)
Signed on game developer Rare to make classics like PDZero, Banjo-Kazooie and a few others for the XBOX.

Best controller thus far, both the one for the original xbox and the 360.
360 Shortages (

Continually improving the quality/selection of their games.
Creating new original titles
and more tricks up there sleeve that are likely going to stay hidden until shortly before the PS3 is launched.

No news of the PS3.
Quality of games dropping on the PS2.
No new innovations yet... just "making the graphics better".
Delayed launch.
Launch shortages like Xbox is predicted...
Pathetic Portable. UMD's...yikes.
Price...(TBA)...but Blu-Ray MAY be a benefit.

What has Nintendo done lately?(I am a fanboy... but the NGC didnt sell to me at first but the more I play it at friends houses the more I realize that the games are great, and I would buy one....but will wait until the Revo comes out and get NGC games then)
For current-gen Nintendo hasnt done too much, although news is slowly leaking about their next-gen console.
Low price, maximizing the use of what you have in your system meaning it runs more efficiently.
Nintendo has new innovations and promises new titles on the Rev. and likely no shortages, and looks to have a very bright future with the new console.

The NHL series from ESPN was alot better in the fact that I couldnt just do the exact same move all game long and score 50,000 goals (like NHL 2006) and then sliders that actually do something and non-ridiculous hitting (like NHL 2005).

NHL 2005 was a terrible and frustrating game, 2006 is too much of a walk in the park but I will give it that it fun for multiplayer.

EA really needs to learn from 2KSports for the hockey series though in that you need to put out a good complete game like 2K5 that has tons of mini multiplayer games, various rinks to play on, 3-on-3 hockey, skills competition, and a more complete Dynasty mode.

I personally find EA's presentation to be mostly better, just not the gameplay, its sick when I can get 7-8 goals a game average with 5 minute periods on difficult

2K Sports (for NHL anyways) is one of those things that people are reluctant to try (like I was for Gamecube) because it isnt advertising as much and isnt the #1 brand-name like EA but really it is just one of those things that you just need to get people to try it and then once the people try the game they like it and will be back again and again and again. A good example of this is Quizno's where the quality of the Subs is phenomenally good, whereas Subway the corporate b!tch just advertises like crazy(to a point where Subway cannot grow any more now) yet Quizno's is now the fastest growing restaurant in Canada because people are starting to become aware of it. Hmm... got a bit off topic.

Also for the NFL comment... I believe the 2K series actually matched the EA series for football in sales in the final year before EA got the exclusivity deal. I never played either so I have no idea which was better.

On another note, I don't like Xbox live, it ends up costing too much money to play and I have no problems with the network adapter for PS2. Good times on that hibotchi.
