Just saw the sign on TV. I had to sign-up.
I was born in Winnipeg but left close to the time the Jets left. Ironically, the same time I left Winnipeg who was loosing their team, I arrived to a city gaining a new team....Ottawa.
Although I am a Senators Fan. I would drop them in an instant if the Jets came back!
COME BACK JETS!!!!!

Good job to whoever made that sign and waved those two jets flags at the TSN booth.

I have to admit that for better or worse I am a Leafs fan. But always was a Jets and Nords fan too.
Hope Bettman was there to hear our LOVE!!!!

welcome, welcome and welcome ;D Thank you, thank you and thank you. Something ignorant going on when Tennessee, Florida and North Carolina can compete for the Cup and Quebec, Winnipeg and Hamilton cannot. (And methinks I will include Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan too). But I was so happy and proud to hear the "GO JETS GO" chants in ND. And on RDS and TSN I saw one Nords sweater. The Peg is just the start to bringing love of the game back to hockey.

Hey I was just reading the tsn posts on the Team Canada win. This is what an american poster said.. ABSOLUTELY NO U.S. COVERAGE! As I sat in my hotel room in Minnesota, not very far from the live action, I couldn't even watch the game. What was on ESPN & ESPN2? Billiards and something else I can't even remember. I was in Montreal over the holidays and watched many games where Canada wasn't even playing. Great coverage TSN, Gord, Bob & Pierre!!! ESPN is not even on board to try to sell hockey in the U.S., how can the whole NHL mess EVER be resolved? The WJC made page 3 of the sports section in the St.Paul Pioneer Press, and page 11C in USA Today. It's a sad, sad, state of affairs for hockey in the U.S. Unbelievable! Tsn covers many games that Canada arent playing in and one friggin american channel cant afford to televise a Gold Medal Matchup between CANADA AND RUSSIA?!!!!!

I belive that tsn has the one and only contract for the IIHF world Juniors so chanls like cbc and espn cant play except for highlites

ESPN was going to televise the game if the Americans had advanced. It sucked that they didn't show it, I couldn't get it on any station so I had to keep getting updates off of the TSN site. It would have been nice if TSN showed it online as well. I also think ESPN owns TSN

ESPN has a contorling interest in TSN, but not it's parent comapny. It's pretty screwed up. I was talking with TSN and CBC curling commentators who were covering the Scotts in Brandon a few years back ( I was teh bar manager where they went after events), and when I asked why it stopped being Sports Desk, and started being Sportscentre, that was the story they both told me.

Awesome!! I'm glad so many people saw the sign and it got so much coverage on TV (apparently i got it on both intermissions and after the game before I got dragged away by security).
Keep on spreading the word, the campaign has nowhere to go but up!!!!!!!!!!

Yah it was rediculous, we wanted to watch the Bronze Medal game before heading over to the Ralph, Not a damn thing. Want to see the highlights after the game, watched ESPN, watched ESPN2, watched ESPN News and saw one highlight from the Junior Games and that was the Dawes to Stewart goal as top play Number 2 of the night. Only thing they cared about was the blow out in the Orange Bowl. I saw enough highlights from that game that I don't think I could ever forget it, but not one highlight in three hours of the bronze medal game with Team USA, and no scores or nothing, just the one goal from the Gold. And they wonder why Hockey doesn't sell in the States.

Man that would suck to be a hockey fan and live in the states. I remember being in the states when the world cup started and I tried to find highlights on ESPN. All they talked about was preseason college football. I didn't even know how canada was doing until I read the paper the next day on the last page in a little block of text.
