As I said Sunday at the game in the second period. The Moose are going to be playing in Calder Cup Playoffs. If the Moose can stop this losing skid, they should be higher up in the ladder too.
How many of you Jets, Jets/Moose, Moose fans are going to be going to a playoff game?
One question I have as it just erks me the wrong way. In the playoffs, there isn't a shootout right? Or is there?

I'm for sure gonna check out some playoff games, and no, there is no shoot-out in the playoffs.

Ok. Good. That would suck if series were decided in a shoot out.
So how far do you all think the Moose will go?

I think they'll barely get past the first round, I don't like their chances going further than that. But good luck to them anyways, I'll be cheering them on.

The Moose arent good enough to be a championship team as we have witnessed during their current 5 game losing streak.
Is the upper bowl going to be open for the playoffs? cause if not that will really suck.

Even if it is open you will still be able to hear a pin drop in there. I bet Me and BT could have conversation together talking from the upper deck to the lower bowl if we really wanted to. Just face it the fans will never get excitted watching moose hockey compared to the Jets.

I admit that. I was there talking to BT on Sunday. I had to speak more quietly because I felt that people on the other side could hear our conversation.
Shhhh, No talking. Hehehe

I don't think we'll make it as far as the Calder. The west is much more potent than the east so it will be hard. I'll be in attendence for a few of the games. I pray they open the upper deck.. otherwise it'll be just as boring as a regular season tilt, filled with old men and small children.

Man, you really don't like the small children there.
What if they win it all though? Think there'll be a see of, Oh what colors are the Moose exactly? Sea of tourquois?
Did anyone noticed the Hockey Night In Canada theme being played during one of the intermissons? That's just wrong.

The moose play such a nonchalant style that they will be very and I mean VERY lucky to get past the first round. Hey, if management and the players don't care, why should I?

When they are on tv at arenas where I am, (ICE sports,) or at the local bar you cannot really change the channel and it is too bad because they go through the motions every night.
Carlyle deserves better than this...

Carlyle deserves better than this... Well the last few games Ive went to, they have played really hard, but just got outplayed. I dont think that they arent trying, I just think that some teams are simply more talented. they do have a pretty good record still.

Moose fans should check to see what their management is doing to improve their team for the playoffs. for example, chicago has just acquired bouwmeester and weiss. www.theahl.com/AHL/News/2005/03/08/954091.htmlconsidering the moose aren't playing exceptionally lately, it'll be interesting to see what mr. chipman does to improve his club. 'cause bouwmeester definitely wouldn't have hurt the Moose !!!!!

"Stephen Weiss was San Antonio's leading scorer with 15 goals and 38 points in 62 games this season. The Chicago Wolves on Tuesday announced they have acquired forward Stephen Weiss and defenseman Jay Bouwmeester on loan from the San Antonio Rampage"
how does that work? to aquire them on loan. do they go back to san antonio after the season???

When has chipman ever lifted a finger to improve his team's fortunes? He almost seems to gain pleasure from the team's futility. (See his free press interview last year when the moose finished last for a reference...)

(See his free press interview last year when the moose finished last for a reference...) i hope he doesn't lift his finger. every time i see him it's buried halfway up his nose, and i'd hate to read about how he punctured his brain trying to improve his moose !!! yes, this a little humour if people are wondering !
