k well i was havin a discussion at work and w.h.l. hockey should be in winnipeg but the league says were to far for most bc and american teams to travel so i put up the idea of winnipeg joining the o.h.l. not as far as most american and bc teams and still the same calibre of hockey let me no what you think

If they travel to Brandon, they can take the extra hour and a half bus ride to Winnipeg...

The WHL has said it would welcome a team from Winnipeg, but has no plans to expand right now. There are some Pacific-based teams that are not crazy about Winnipeg landing a team, but look at the history of the WHL. The Flin Flon Bombers, Winnipeg Warriors, Brandon Wheat Kings. As a matter of fact, most teams in the WHL were east of Alberta until the early 80's.
