Awesome. I assume you meant to say "I haven't traded cards in years". Right now I'm just looking for Winnipeg Jets and Minnesota Wild cards. But something tells me you're not going to want to part with your Jets cards. Then again... I'm sure you have lots of doubles... There used to be lots in the early 90's... I know there's a few places in St. James...

does anyone know of a good card shop in the city? Best place for Jets cards/merchandise etc. is one on Portage Ave near Ferry Rd. I forget the name of it off hand but they've always been good for Jets stuff, back when I was rounding up complete Jets sets they were a big help.

awesome. thanks jeff. there used to be so many card shops but that industry went down hill along side the nhl. maybe we could see if we can get a price cap on packs of hockey cards

I happen to live in St. James and the card store you are talking about is called "Superstars" and is located where Jeff said...it is a cool place to find some neat memorabilia but I don't shop there anymore because of a certain hockey card switch-a-roo that went down while my uncle was paying off payments for a card. A few blocks west of Superstars on Portage is another place that is good is called Coins and Stamps, though there isn't much selection it has good prices on singles, packs, and boxes, but I havn't collected in a while and I think it's starting to be taken over by Yu-Gi-Crap or whatever fad is going on. Another place I suggest that is one business that I have put soooo much money into(because a I was a hockey card freak ages 9-14) is a store called "Face Off". Nice owner, he'll give you good deals on stuff. He has some vintage Jets memorabilia thats pretty cool. His store is also being taken over by Yu-Gi-Barf but its not that bad, you get used to the nerd battle tournaments that take place in the back room. It's found on Ness close by Sturgeon Rd. and is part of the building that Safeway is and the entrance is found on the side close to the 7-11. Another card store that I'm not too sure is still around is the one owned by the "Holy Goalie" himself. Joe Daley's in the apartment block just across St. James st. from Polo Park. Hope that info is usefull. ;D

OOOOOOOH and there is another place that is on Wellington I think between Erin and Wall called...its on the tip of the tounge...somthing like SportsCard Central, something like that...that place is also good for deals and neat memorabilia. Oh and also old skool goalie pads, trappers and blockers.
