Have "Jets blue" play "Jets white" in basically a scrimmage game at MTS Center.
Tickets would be significantly reduced of course and that's just one more night of concession sales.
This wouldn't just be a practice with the team just skating around for a while but basically an actual 3 period game. There would likely be reduced period times something like the Young Stars game had.
What do you think?

Well i can see this being a sucess, not something necesarly "huge", but still the sales would go nicely, the people of winnipeg would be happy, and the young stars game seemed to have happy players as well, there is a difference in playing for fun, and playing with 2 points in regulation on the line, or thge stanley, i love watching the games when the players are haveing fun, and i cant see why this wouldnt go over well.

How can you not see how this brings money? It's another game of ticket sales (although at much lower prices than the regular sesaon), food/drink sales, jersey sales, and parking money. I like the idea, it can be an annual thing. I have a similar idea where every year you could have a current Jets vs. legendary Jets game for fun. They could invite retired Jets to come out and play the current team. There are plenty of legends to invite like Dale Hawerchuk, Bobby Hull, Thomas Steen, Anders Hedberg, Phil Housley, or fan favourites like Tie Domi and within the next 5 years even guys like Teemu Selanne, Keith Tkachuk, Teppo Numminen, Nikolai Khabibulin etc. will be retired and can be invited. Like the White vs. Blue game ticket prices will be reduced but it's still a decent amount of gate revenue and concession revenue. Every little bit helps. It can be an annual event where the legends get invited back.
