You could sell each seat for advertising, kind like they do with the bus stop benches. It would make the place look like the MET center or Copps,no 2 seats would look alike--LOL-O.K this was a stupid idea and i should really go to bed now..........
Then again would you not like to sit on a Hooters sighn.....

Advertising is starting to make me nauseous, it everywhere and makes my brain feel like Jello Pudding, you can't take a c rap in peace without someone trying to sell you something, my brain isn't wired to PUSH and READ at the same time!

The better option is too have stickers on the cup holders with a sponsor like McDonalds, Tim Hortens, or KFC.

I like the seat advertising idea. It's easy to do and another source of revenue without fans having to pay extra. Imagine if for every seat you could have a Coke or McDonald's sticker on the front and back of 15,000 seats. I'm sure several companies would pay decent money for that kind of advertising. 15,000 seats x 41 games = 615,000 opportunities to expand their brand (not including playoff games). There's gotta a big company out there that would pay for that advertising and everything counts.

first of all, its not as if fans are sitting in the stands wondering... "Whats McDonalds?" lol, but I would think it would just become an eyesore, looking across the arena, and all you could see is the golden arch of Mcdonalds or the face of the Burger King, etc.
But I like the idea of advertising on cups or other small concession stuff like that...

I'm not talking about having the entire seat covered by a logo, but maybe a small or small-ish sticker. Even an 8.5 x 11 size ad on the back of the seats wouldn't be too enormous. Because it's on the back of the seat in front of you the ads won't be visible on TV, and the seats will still look totally normal from the front. Maybe companies should be required to buy an entire row or section of advertising (to avoid looking like Copps Coliseum). The bottom line is that it's another source of revenue and I'm sure several companies, specifically those companies with locations inside the arena (such as Subway or Tim Horton's) would love the opportunity to advertise to 15,000 people.

why not put the ad on the bottom of the seat, or top, so that when people are sitting down, people don't see them, and when they get up, the seats flip, and BEHOLD!!! "Big-Macs for 4.56$"
