(Hey, sorry if there is a poll on this already, if so, then by all means the mods can delete it.)
Do you believe the Bombers can beat the Argos? I mean, they've beaten them in the past, but this is a different Argo team. They did beat us and become 1st in the East, after all...

I deifinitely think the Bombers can bet the Argos. It will be hard considering the Argos have won 6 or 7 in a row, but I wasn't at all impressed with the Argos when they played Winnipeg 2 weeks ago.

I went to each Bomber game, save for one...Bombers will have make bigger plays on D to win...I'm talking turnover, impact stuff...The offence has it all there, but has to get back to ball control success of first half of season...
I think the Bombers can win, but my head tells me T-O's D is too much, and Bishop and crew are just enough...

If the Bombers play their best game they will beat Toronto!
Toronto got hot and the Blue cooled down, I almost would rather have it the way it is right now with Toronto primed for their letdown now.

Since Roger's Centre/Skydome opened in 1990, how many times have the Bombers won there?
3 times I think? Maybe 4? In 17 years.

I think the Bombers can totally do it... if they show up to play that is. If they play the same as they did against Montreal... we're toast.

we have 3 great rceivers they have 1, we have a good QB they have an above average QB, we have the best RB they have a decent RB, we have the best front 4 on D they have a depleted o-line. If we stick to smart passes and running the ball we will win! Our defense went stride for stride with theirs last time we played them. We made two mistakes that gave them the game.

in my opinion if Glenn plays decent (i.e not making horrible int's like that one last week into the numbers of the montreal defender) and they decide to throw the ball to Bolden (seconds before the INT on sunday i was telling my cousin in the stands that i dare them to throw it to bolden, no reason he shouldnt be in the nfl imo) we will win but either way it should be a close game. GO BOMBERS. Riders v. Bombers final? k now i have to go clean up after that thought

Won't get over 10 Argos linebacker guarantees his team will shut down Bombers offence By ROBLONGLEY, SUN MEDIA TORONTO -- Kevin Eiben stopped short of guaranteeing a victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Sunday's CFL East Division Final. But the Toronto Argonauts leading tackler came close yesterday. Eiben, a fixture on the Boatmen's talented and attacking linebacking corps, promised that the CFL's top-rated defence will stuff the Winnipeg attack. "(The Bombers) are not going to get over 10 points against us," Eiben said emphatically yesterday. "How many have they got against us this year? (Fifteen) one game, eight another game? They haven't produced on offence." "No comment," responded Bombers GM Brendan Taman who will likely pin the quote up in the locker-room today. The Argos, who are favoured by 6 1/2 points in this their sixth consecutive trip to the division final, are 60 minutes from advancing to the Grey Cup in their own stadium. All that stands in the way is a Bombers team which has struggled moving the ball against the Boatmen despite having a finalist for CFL player of the year in quarterback Kevin Glenn and the rushing threat of Charles Roberts. Riding a seven-game win streak and coming off a bye, Eiben says the defence, which has allowed just one touchdown in its past three games, is primed for another huge effort. "I am very confident about our defence," said Eiben, who leads the team in tackles with 91. "Look at the records. Look at what we've done this year. I don't see that changing in the next game." That doesn't necessarily have the Bombers quaking in their boots. "There's no more talking that can go on, you've just got to go out there and play the game," said Glenn, unaware of Eiben's boldness at the time. "It's possible to get your due as an offence. You've just got to be patient, execute your offence and don't turn the ball over because they thrive on turnovers and that's how they keep offences down." Argos defensive co-ordinator Rich Stubler's unit finished the season atop the league in several statistical categories. Among them was a league low 25 touchdowns surrendered leading to a stingy average of 15.9 points per game. One of the better defensive efforts came Oct. 27 against the Bombers in a 16-8 win in which the Argos yielded only two field goals and a pair of singles. In the previous meeting, the Argos won 31-23 but most of the Winnipeg points came late, including one touchdown with a second remaining. Roberts was held to seven rushing yards on six carries and at half time of that contest, Toronto led 21-1 and the Bombers had just 79 yards total offence. Winnipeg's lone win against the Argos was a 15-13 triumph in August, a game in which the Bombers rolled up 403 yards of offence but scored just one touchdown. On defence, the Argos are to the point where they are playing with such confidence that they believe they can intimidate any opponent in the league.. "I want people to adjust to what we do on defence," Stubler said recently. "Right now we are lucky enough to be at the point where people worry about what we are going to do." source: http;//www.winnipegsun.com

Well well well.... look who crashed over the Go Jets Go argos... THEY didn't get 10,9 was their number... they were stuck at numero ono for a long time! I think there are people here that owe the big blue a SORRY... I said it and i will say it again.... PLAYOFFS are not REG season... THROW THE STAT book out.. SO JIFFY KNOWS BEST.. and i would like to take this opportunity to say:
HAHAHHAHAHHAH And I really am sad for the none believers .. you take the playoff fun out for yourselves .. and I do hope that you now change your tune..
this sounds so cocky of me.. sorry but i am so excited and the doubters really bother me...
People should sooooooooooooooooooooooo be more positive... it is the neg. attitude all the time that hurts the bombers... and not to mention ALSO hurt the JETS.... COME ON.... PEOPLE learn from your mistakes... YOU STICK BY YOUR TEAMmmm ESPECIALLY when they are down....
I have comments on the game and will make them short....
- we should have had 30 points.. stupid mistakes hurt us in the game - I hate GLENN as we all know.. but i will say this.... HE PLAYED GREAT and that late hit from the I love u baby EIBEN was a nasty dirty thing... and i hope Glenn will recover ok... although i want to see Dinwiddie play more. - Got mad that the commentators put Dinwiddie down right away.. he is a great QB and will get better with time - I DIDN'T SAY ONE BAD THING ABOUT GLENN... THAT IS A FEAT ON ITS OWN...LOL - Bad calls by the refs... (referring especially to the TD, that was overturned... what idiots)
I think that is it.... LOVE THE BIG BLUE>.. and am soooooooooooo pumped for nextSUNDAY... Crack out the beer ... i am starting early....
i am sooooooooooooooooo unbelievably HAPPY... this could be better then my future wedding... so much... lol
