I dont think Kevin Glenn did all that bad. Sure he can't seem to actually win a game on his own but in his defense, I dont think he's surrounded with much of a receiving team all year. Outside of Milt and Armstrong, there isnt much talent. The O-Line had another tough year with injuries which didnt help.
Things could have been much different had the Bombers actually won ONE of the games that Glen was hurt for. That extra win could have secured them a home game for the first round and who knows what could have happened with the game played outside. The backup QB situation MUST be adressed in the offseason. Brad Banks has to go. He was a great NCAA QB but he cant cut it in the CFL.
But to me, the most incompetant play was the Bruce TD. Who was it Marlborough and Malveaux? If just ONE of them would have played technically sound football instead of trying to be a hero and make the highlight reel, Bruce would have been tackled exactly where he caught the football. YOU HAVE TO WRAP WITH YOUR ARMS TO MAKE A TACKLE!!!! Ask any kid playing amateur football and they will tell you that.

On that Bruce TD you can see that the first hit on Burce would have knocked him down but the second hit from the opposite side kept him up, tough luck and bad tackling. Malborough picked the worst time to have his worst gane of the year. On to Roberts he carried the ball THIRTY times, which is awesome, but with that many carries you have to expect a fumble. Now Glenn, who threw 2 int's with only 22 throws, thats just unacceptable. Other than those two throws he played excellent, he showed his heart in the first quarter when he ran for the first down, everyone could see the pain that he was dealing with. We were victims of rookie coaching on that last interception. 2nd and 5 down four points with over a minute to play, they decide to throw, knowing that if it is incomplete they'll be going for it on thiird down, they should have ran it because Roberts was getting 5 yds all day, but if he didn't and he is stopped short the playbook is open for anything.
Now I'm getting upset again , I better stop.

Not Stegall or Roberts then, but someone like Brazzell, or Cavil.

Glenn was horrendous. If it were up to me, he wouldn't step on Winnipeg turf again, unless of course he was the opposition. As most people who sat near me this year at the Bomber games, I want Glenn out, ASAP. Don't give up Stegall, or Roberts, but something has to be done. Make a trade. You can't win in this league unless you have a QB, and as of right now, I don't see us winning. Always next year boys.
P.S. And girls, sorry Jiffy.

There are rumours of Dave Dickenson being available. There arent too many options for starting QB's in the CFL. If DD is available, we should go after him ASAP. One home playoff game will pay for him. Keep Glenn as the back-up. I think DD coming here might convince Stegal to stay for one more year (or maybe two).
Roberts was not to blame for the loss. He should be credited for the almost win. Glenn is not to blame either. One bad throw at a bad time...sure, but he played great up until then when the coaches let him play (which was not at all in the first half).

What's your source for Dave Dickenson being available? Wouldn't the Grey Cup MVP be locked up for a while? Regardless, if that is true, I agree, do what it takes (within reason) to acquire him.

Well he may have gotten MVP .. but it was up against Calvillo.. I could have got MVP up against him..lol But do you think that Dickensen would work well with our boys??? Personally like said in a recent post...
ANYTHING to get rid of Glenn.. Ill do anything just to get rid of our Go Jets Go QB... Hell why not try it... what have we honestly got to loose. Glenn??? LOL .. we can give him away for all i care.

I love Bishop, and feel as though he could beat Glenn out for a starting job any day.
