Some good signings to this point...
Still a little concerned with Kevin Glenn at QB.
Defense looks like it will be much better and the O-line...should perhaps give Glenn a fighting chance this year.
What the #$%& is going on signing O'Mahony? That one makes no sense. They'd be better off signing the TSN/Wendy's kick-to-win guy from last year...he was at least 33% on kicks 30+ yards...

they signed o'mahoney to fill the punters job john ryan left. he did pretty good in punt, 3rd or 4th in punting average. westwood could win both jobs if he preforms better. o'mahony is really just insurance and is a good pick up IMO. if he cleans up his game he can do placekicking too, something johnny never really could.

I have a question..... WHY is westwood still around.. I swear it seems he has been on that team since the Bombers were first born... Everyone on that team has been traded and bounced around except for Westwood. Does he have secret powers.?? He can't .. unless they just suck... But seriously it just seems like forever and I think that they need a little change in the "kicking" department.

he's consistnet. he's only been a bomber for abour 12 years. bob cameron was on the team for basically the teams whole life. no change is needed

Westwood was on 104 this morning.. flirting with Carolyn Hunter.. He said himself that he is suprised at the little postitive attitude winnipeggers give him.. he thinks he should recive NONE... NOW if the kicker knows he isnt' well liked in the position he plays ... y would he want to stick around.. I think we need a change up.. change won't hurt... Besides I am sure there are some drum practices that he needs to attend to...lol

People think he's horrible, so now this year he'll probably kick 85+%.(knocking on wood, but not west wood, nevermind.)

Westwood is an OK placekicker but he's known for missing them when they count. He'll go 90% through the Reg season then 1 for 6 in the Playoffs. Missing from 25, 32, 44, 47, 30 yards and make 1 from 56 yards!

It seems as though everytime I watch a game (which is a lot) he does worse. It could be just the negative attitude toward him I guess.. but he is kinda a fruitcake. I know he is a joker .. I have met him on a couple occasions and he seems to be a cool guy to hang around... but football is a different story.. He seems to also have BAD seasons and good... I just hope he is in good mode. But still think it would be good to have a change.. maybe not trade him but put someone else as kicker and he can be a back up.

There are a whole lotta other considerations when rankings kickers. How good was the snap, the placement, the protection, etc... Westwood has had good and bad seasons but it could be based on more factors than himself. I personally loved the 55 yarder that beat Saskatchewan 2 years ago...

Glenn has, apparently, looked like a new man in training camp. With a strong O-line and smart offensive system that plays to his strengths, he should do very well. He was top three last year on a terrible team.
The pass first offense should see him compete for Bomber records this year.

He was top three last year on a terrible team. Top 3 in what??? He was 6th in total passing yards, 13th in completion average, and his highest stat, sadly, was 5th in interceptions. (Ray, Joseph & Calvillo had more INT's but threw 50% more passes) 5 other teams had at least 1 QB with a better QB rating (Ray was only .1% behind Glenn which would've pushed him down another spot) Don't get me wrong, I think that with an improved O'line he will definatley have better stats.....but the #'s don't back-up your "top 3" theory. Hopefully this year...
