That interior reminds of a scaled down version of the new Terminal 1 at Pearson in Toronto. Looks pretty nice, though!

Doesn't the interior design look a lot like the old one? Maybe more glass and lame roof panels...

I say it's what we expected...a 2nd rate design for a 2nd rate city

Exactly what it says.......the design isn't "world class" nor is it unique or original.....something that Winnipeg isn't either. A fact hard to swallow by so many. We are a top "minor" city but nowhere near a major city.

Joel.....you attend the BT kindergarden school of maturity? I know it's a hard fact to swallow.....you'll get over it. But once the NHL returns, our image will change...though the airport design still sucks.

I think the design is kind of interesting, lots of glass. Afterall it is an airport terminal, there is not a whole lot you can do with them, they all seem the same to me
Does anyone know how many gates it will have? What happens to the old terminal?

But once the NHL returns, our image will change...though the airport design still sucks. That's YOUR opinion. Just like it is YOUR opinion that Winnipeg is an uninestering, "minor league" city. If you don't like Winnipeg, you can always move. Nobody is holding a gun to your head....

Exactly Joel...MY opinion...but you didn't like it so you resorted to BT's tactic's......and where are you? Edmonton or back here? I'm curious.

I'd rather be getting apprenticing in a different city, and acting as a ambassador of our city, rather than being a hyporcite and trash-talking Winnipeg, the city which I was born and raised....

Mine is Plumbing/Pipefitting. 4 years, 45 hours/week, with 8 weeks school (paid for at NAIT)/per year. IT's 50% journeymans wage in year one, 60% year 2, 70% year 3, and 80% year 4. It's tough, but I enjoy it...

Great terminal design...beats ottawas new one by a mile! How did we get talking about what type of class city Winnipeg was again? Cmon gimme a break..its a god dam city! a good one too, its got a great reputation with hockey and it deserves to have the NHL back...thats all i think we should worry about.
