This is totally awesome!!!
I know you guys were getting tired of me talking about this for awhile, and now this proposal happens, wow.
The hotels football shaped roof looks good
I say under 10 years this stadium will be built or major renovations.
Football is made to built outside, but for all of us who too darn cold in october and november, I recommend they put floor heating in the stands and/or heated seats.
The location is the best you can ever ask for, though I wouldn't mind if downtown would tear down some of the old useless buildings where someday rapid transit will exist.
With the Red River Ex involved this will make the building used more frequently. When Paul Robson said in the paper yesterday, he is looking at expanding his agricultural fair, meaning they will buy out the Manitoba stampede (the Big M in morris the 2nd biggest rodeo tour in canada, Morris can no longer afford the the circuit, they will soon downsize), so the stadium will be used in the 2nd last weekend of july for for the rodeo and I presume the chuckwagon part of it will be in another venue like the assiboine downs unless they open up each end of the stadium for a chuckwagon track. So a huge possibility of a rival stampede to calgary would put winnipeg on the map during the summer for tourism. The stadium canopy makes it look like a horseshoe, but that could be pure coincidence.
I do hope one can purchase a hotel suite that has a view inside the football stadium.
The location is great for enter and exit traffic because of the perimeter and route 90.
Is this waterpark bigger than the one in grandforks that was just built or bigger than the west edmonton mall?
