Goodbye everyone on Jetsowner. It's been a short but very informative stay for me especially as a non-Winnipegger. I enjoyed reading of the news pertaining to the Jets before the mainstream media reported it. Hope to see some of you on HFBoards or Jets Stream.

What a ride indeed.
Remember when the site first came up. Myself and some co-workers were checking it out and reading just what this guy named Darren Ford had to say. Most in the room that day in 2003 were laughing.
Except me. I looked over to the Eatons site where the "new arena" was being built and started to dream, like Darren.
But most of all I started to believe. And I'm not sure I would've been that confident in that belief of the NHL returning had it not been for Darren and jets owner.com
Amazing really. How it all ended up.
I will admit, most of the fun on the boards really wasn't until Phoenix was placed in bankruptcy in 2009. But I was here since 2005 when it was just another pipe dream.
Darren, thanks bro. Thanks for making us all believe.

Peace everyone.
What a ride it has been, full of ups and downs at times, but all in all was a blast on here!
Thanks to everyone involved who worked hard to make this work and run smoothly and props to everyone for keepin' up hope. I'm sure it still seems unreal to many. Enjoy the up coming season.

long time lurker, havent posted much at all.. but I cant even explain how much I would come back and check these forums every day, waiting for news to see if a team would finally be. from a life long rangers fan, congrats guys! its been a long ride and I know youll all thoroughly enjoy your new team.

I just want to say goodbye and have fun to all here. I was here in the beginning with characters like Hattrick and Blackthorne (I ended up banning him alot) and watched alot of us endure ridicule for years. Darren and the rest of us never gave up hope. Business ventures didnt allow for myself to stay on as a Mod or spend as much time on here as I did in the past, and unfortunately I lost over a 1,000 posts early on when we switched servers in 2007. I look forward to seeing some of you on other boards especially those whom I have known for quite a while. Take care all, it has been a heck of a ride, and I am still in shock that it all came together!
