This quote stands true for this site now as it did for the last Game then
Darren please let this go out with only the good Threads intact
Please delete the recent pointless nonsense that is creating a black eye for this site
As I mention in another thread
Darren if you can Moderate this site still please delete the crap that has been popping up over that last while. If the site is to remain up for people to see then they should see the great posts and threads that started all the excitement of the return and none of the people bashing ect. This was and still is a great site for info and is now a time capsule of the events leading up to a great time in the history for Winnipeg, Manitoba and the Jets

I might lurk around for the next few days, but wanted to say adios fellas if I don't post again! If any of you make it to the Pens-Jets game in Pittsburgh (Consol Energy Center) on Feb 12, pop on by section 224! Just look for the guy with the Crosby jersey on, those aren't too hard to find;-p
I've grown up with the Pens over 38 years, but the Jets are definitely my second team! Welcome back to the NHL!

Nice to meet a lot of you guys and gals aswell. What an emotional rollercoaster ride we've been on the past 8 plus years. Some really good times, and amazing conversations and debates. I will try to not let some of the recent stuff by some losers tarnish what this site was about.
This site was about hope and a dream. And dreams do come true! Thanks for all the great input from the regulars and some non regulars. I believe we were truly part of the grassroots swell that made a difference in us getting our Jets back.
I will remember this site fondly and hope to have some great conversations with some of you on whatever forums I do join. So thanks to all of you.
But the biggest thanks is to Darren Ford. That crazy pipe dreamer gave us all hope and made all of us believe. So thank you very much Darren Ford.

Darren, hats off to you my friend.
I still remember when this site started in 2003. How when myself and some co workers of mine were checking out the site and just what this Darren Ford had to say.
Most of the guys were laughing.......except me. I looked over to the old Eatons site where our new arena was being built and started to dream, like Darren. Moreso I started to BELIEVE.
And here we are.
It's amazing, really.

There are many things I could have added to this thread the one thing we can all say is how we were glued to this site for Months waiting on any stitch of info true or false to pop up
Every morning I would check to see how many new threads (Always in Blue as i read everything the night prior changing it to red) were started
This ROTJ story will be one to tell little ones when they get older and this site will be very much apart of that for me. I think most of us can attest to how our wives gave us shyt for spending so much time on here, Its gonna be a good laugh to be had by many when these stories are told.
Again to Darren and to all "Thanks for the memories" there will be many more to come
