Since this forum is shutting down, and a lot of locals seem to like, I've gone and created a piggy back forum sort of, that members here could transition too. Seems quite a few people like myself, prefer this type of forum and atmosphere so I figured I'd give it a try. No harm to anyone and not meant to compete with other forums. Like I said, it seems like a lot like a certain type of atmosphere. So that's what I'm going for. If it goes nowhere...so be it. Also, keep it mind, this forum is at the design stages so the members can contribute in it's design from the ground up. |

i think yourwinnipegjets.com "could" be a decent forum, but all it is right now is a place that allows there members to bash others.
the adims there see nothing wrong with it. its one big glorified troll site.
not that this place is any better now.

i think yourwinnipegjets.com "could" be a decent forum, but all it is right now is a place that allows there members to bash others. the adims there see nothing wrong with it. its one big glorified troll site. not that this place is any better now. Yeah I have been checking it out from time to time and I have to say its not a place I could enjoy the way it is right now. The only thread that got any hits for a long while was the bash darren thread. Every person over there seems to be a former banned member here. Well that and a couple defenders of Darren. If they ever clean it up a little, it could probably be a good place. I don't mind they complain about Darren or Alex. Nobody is perfect and its fine if you don't agree with how they ran things. I personally have had no issues however. With that in mind though it would be nice to have a normal civilized conversation, however I have yet to see a thread there that isn't bashing something or somebody. |

It's funny - I tried to follow along over there but it's painful! The only thread is three guys going back and forth about the perceived injustices perpetrated against them by Alex and Darren, backed up with fictional and spurious claims about Darren and ROTJ in general. Talk about selling out. Very disappointed. My response to your post in the other thread. That forum IS brutal. How the hell do you sign up? I have to sign up for some other online thing to be allowed on there? It looks terrible. Very bush league interface. I hope the guys at ourbombers.com do a Jets forum. It's a well maintained, insightful forum that is easy to use. I just cant say how disappointed I am that DF and the others abandoned this forum to get in bed with the Free Press. It would be one thing if the new forum was too good to pass up, but it's brutal. In real estate it's "location, location location" in business it's "exposure" WFP should stick to the news, IMHO. |
