Give it a week or two, people will come around. We got the jets; don't like the logo? w.e fuhgetaboutit. No, I'm definitely not going to come around. But I'll be a season ticket holder for life and a crappy logo won't prevent that. At least they got the name right! |

I here you, I'm a STH and the logo "might" grow on me but right now I think it leaves a lot to be desired. |

It's easily the best logo in Jets history. Smashing "Winnipeg" and "Jets" into a circle was awkward. This logo needs no text and nothing has to be spelled out. Someone here argued the old Jets had poor marketing, and I agree. The new Jets have already made a more striking presence.

I agree with the posters who commented on the nose of the Jet covering the tip of the leaf (as well as the angular stem)... It's a little unnatural on the eyes, but overall, very nice (imho).
For anyone concerned about the possible lack of love/respect for the new logo from people outside of Winnipeg/Manatoba, remember, they probably felt the same way about the old logo... sometimes, you can't win.
I'm just glad the speculation is over.

I like the logo in the top right the best. Couldn't agree more. That secondary logo is really nice. I don't think the primary logo is going to last more than 3-5 years without a significant update - although that isn't too bad given that they have had such a short time to develop it. It is growing on me as I type... A couple iterations to fine tune it and I think it will be great. Certainly simple and classy - as I had hoped. The only thing I really don't like so far is the word mark... The Jets font doesn't conjure military, speed, or class, and the negative space between the bottom of the IPEG in Winnipeg and the ET in Jets really bothers me - it's too awkward and accidental. All in all, fairly pleased. Looking forward to seeing the unis. |

To those who think the Maple is upside down,I'll say this,and I havent seen a comment anywhere else about this yet.
My belief is its not a true Maple leaf,its another Jet pointing downwards disguised as a MP.Thats why the silver Jet has a point in the back and looks odd to me.The MP Jet reminds of the 90's Jet in a way,I think this was done on purpose as a little tribute to the past logo.

Moreover, I can't believe there are some people who actually like it. I thought forsure people would be pretty upset with the seeming lack of effort. I don't mind all the concepts in the logo (the jet and circle), but the logo itself is just lacking in creativity to the point of idiocy. It looks like an Airforce logo, not an NHL one.

The Winnipeg Jets are fantastic. The logo isn't. I'm sure the jersey's will make it look better, but still, quite disappointed in the seeming lack of creativity on this one. Just saying Nay to the question.
