Hey there I'm willing to trade my 2 door 2002 Silver Cavalier. Over the last year I have put over $2500 dollars worth of work into the vechile with all recipes for proof. The vechile needs a new engine in it which I can get installed for $1200 including labor which is a great price. vechile was purchased for $4800. The vechile is Safetied and ready to go all you have to do is install a used engine and its in great shape 163 000 KM's on it. I'm willing to sell you this vechile for 2 seats to home opener or 2 seats to a few regular season games of your choice. We can neg. something I'm sure. If your interested please PM me and write me a personal message. Thank you.

The car is in not bad shape at all the new parts in it alone are valued at over $2500. The only thing wrong with it is that the timing chain went on it. The timing chain is very expensive to fix your looking at $1200. For that price you can get a mechanic to install a used engine in it for $1200. There is very minor rust on it just a little bit on bottom doors. Very minimal. The car itself is very sporty looking. It's power everything, has sunroof, performance tires with rims.
Back to the trade for tickets. I'm most defiantly not willing to accept 2 seats to 1 game especially a 1 Panthers or Hurricanes game. If you don't offer tickets to home opener I would defiantly consider offers for 2 seats together to at least 3 games this year. If you have any serious offers message me.

sorry...we're just joking. at this point there's no one who's giving up their season tickets for virtually any price. It might be possible to buy some individual game tickets, but even those are tough to get right now. I suspect there will be some games available mid season when the novelty wears off (and don't forget that they will be selling about 500 tickets for each game). As for season tickets, when people get their visa bills, I wouldnt be surprised if there aren't a few people who opt out of their season ticket groups next year .

Speak for yourself... I wasn't joking and think my trade offer is fair.
"...I'm offering a car that currently doesn't run and will require an engine to be installed, it's starting to rust, it's 8 years old..."

Does the car at least come with a nice Winnipeg Jets bumper sticker attached? Or a snazzy set of Winnipeg Jets seat covers? You have to focus on the important stuff.

Okay so a vehicle with over $2500 dollars of work put in it within last 9 months with all receipts is not a decent offer? You can install the engine for $1200 and you virtually have a vehicle that is valued at $3500 bucks, thats what 2 mechanics have valued the car at with the engine installed. The car does start up right now it just wont drive very good considering the timing chain is done. I understand maybe the first game I wont get tickets for but me asking for 2 seats to 3 games is a steal of a deal for who trades 3 hockey games for a very nice car. Just think about it if someone buys this car and installs an engine for $1200 you can sell it if you want for $3500. Look at the profit you will make alone.

Your first mistkae is thinking that ANY amount of money you put into a vehicle can be recovered. That's not true in ANY case.
You're thinking from your perspective alone, try looking at it from the point of view of another person. I guess if someone WANTS to bother with having to sell that car to turn a profit, but they're also gonna have to go on your word. A word that currently says the car needs a new engine. I smart business man doesn't touch that with a 10 ft pole, unless they are a mechanic and will to put in the sweat equity to maximize their profit margin.
I'm not hating.. and I wish you all the luck, but think you're gonna have a hard time. Or maybe not, there's one born everyday.

You are exactly write about the mechanic thing. I'm going off what a mechanic has already offered me for my car as it stands wright now. On the other hand a mechanic who can put the engine in himself can basically make tons of profit because he can go get a car out of lot for 200bucks and install the engine himself. Thats why I'm probably going to have more luck selling the car to a mechanic then the average person. I just thought I would offer my car as is write now which is still safetied for 2 tickets to the home opener or 2 tickets to 3 different games this year.

It sure sounds like it's in "great shape". It's a GM... it wasn't in "great shape" even when it just got off the production line.
