guys, stop living in the past. This team will never be the old Winnipeg Jets. Don't expect the exact same team/experience/organization because that's been dead for more than 15 years now. This is the NEW jets, now just let the old jets rest in peace. you got your name, but expect a new logo and color scheme because the team will get much more jersey sales with new colors rather than adopting the old colors.

I just wanna say let's not jump down theonlywhiteout's (TOW) throat for this though everyone... I think the majority wanted Jets, and the majority think TNSE should do up a new logo. But people are still entitled to their opinions, it doesn't mean TOW isn't thankful, just throwing his opinion out there cuz this is a CHAT BOARD after all! But I honestly feel like TNSE can do no wrong! Can't wait to grab me a new jersey... then spend WAY too much on other stuff! Thank god my birthday is in October... by the end of that and Christmas I should have a ton of Jets 2.0 stuff to add to my original Jets collection! huh, leaping down someone's throat for a minority opnion isn't ok here anymore? wow... that's new. |

My order of importance was kinda reversed from what others really wanted.
1-Color (red/white/blue) If its not,ill be kickin it old school
2-The look of the logo.(I dont want something they're gonna change every 5 years)
3-Team name (Jets was first choice,but was willing to live with something new)
I sometimes just find it funny that ppl say let go of the logo and colors cause its in the past.Well the Jets used to be in the past and ppl seemed to really want that pretty bad.

we got the name. I'm happy. There's our history. The design/colours can be the aspect the moves us forward. They can still use the old ones for retro jerseys.

Put 'em in Cooperalls. That'll be radically different.
For me it was the name. Period.
Weighting in terms of importance:
90% Call 'em the Jets.
10% Use 'Winnipeg' and not 'Manitoba' (or something cute like Prairie or River City)
0% Everything else.
